Mount Emei is located in Sichuan Province, China.
Mount Emei is located in the southwest edge of the Sichuan Basin in China, between 29°16 -29°43 north latitude and 103°10 -103°37 east longitude, which is the remaining vein of the southern section of Qionglai Mountain, rising from the Emei Plain, extending from north to south, stretching for 23 kilometers, covering an area of about 154 square kilometers.
The main peaks of Mount Emei:
1. Mt. O'E:
Da'e Mountain is the main peak of Mount Emei, 3099 meters above sea level, the peaks and peaks of the mountain range are undulating, the heavy rocks are stacked and green, the foothills are more than 50 kilometers to the peak, the stone path is circling, straight up to the sky.
There is a large area of weather-resistant basalt covering Jinding, which forms a flat summit surface with an inclination angle of 10 to 15 degrees. On the east side of Jinding, there are Paleozoic carbonate rocks, which are strongly dissolved along the anticline fissures by flowing water, forming steep cliffs (sheshen cliffs) and deep streams as high as 800 meters.
2. Er'e Mountain:
Er'e Mountain, also known as Peng Mountain, Sui Mountain, is northeast-southwest trend, composed of granite, dolomite, etc. The main peak resembles a cauldron and is 1,909 meters above sea level. There are many cedars, miscellaneous trees, and bamboos in the forest, and there are forest farms.
Native tea, bamboo shoots, tung oil, lacquer, etc., and produce Chinese medicinal materials. The pig liver cave in the west foot is a famous Taoist scenic spot. There is Ziyun Cave in the south, which is said to be the cultivation place of Tang Lu Chunyang.
3. San'e Mountain:
San'e Mountain, also known as Huajian Mountain and Xihuang Mountain, is located in the southwest of Shawan Town, Leshan. It is 13 kilometers long, 7 kilometers wide, and the elevation of the main peak is meters, which is 1,625 meters higher than the river surface of Shawan Town. The outcropping strata include Sinian, Cambrian, Ordovician and Permian, and the summit is covered with basalt.
The eastern slope is steep. It began to form at the end of the Neo-Tertiary period. There are minerals such as copper and aluminum.
4. Si'e Mountain:
Si'e Mountain is twenty miles north of Mount Emei in Sichuan Province, five kilometers north of Mount Emei City, with an altitude of 982 meters. Because the mountain-shaped petals are like flowers, it is also called the flower mountain. There is Yuantong Temple on the mountain, and there is the earliest ancient temple Guanyin Nunnery built on the top of the mountain, which is the place where the Ming Dynasty monk Yinzong Zen Master (Mianzhou, Sichuan) talks about Zen knots.

Mount Emei in Sichuan Province.
Mount Emei is located in the southwest edge of the Sichuan Basin in China, between 29°16 -29°43 north latitude and 103°10 -103°37 east longitude, which is the remaining vein of the southern section of Qionglai Mountain, rising from the Emei Plain, extending from north to south, stretching for 23 kilometers, with an area of about 110 square kilometers.
Among the 13 strata exposed in the world, except for the missing Silurian and Devonian and Carboniferous, the remaining 10 systems are exposed. The total thickness is up to meters.
Among them, the Upper Sinian-Middle Triassic are mainly marine sediments. The Upper Triassic of Zhaobi is a marine-continental transitional facies; The lower and lower Jurassic and tertiary are fluvial-lacustrine facies; The Upper Tertiary and Quaternary are alluvial, alluvial and glacial deposits.
The tectonic landform of Mount Emei:
The geological foundation of the main body of Mount Emei is a short anticline in the north-south direction, surrounded by faults, and it is a "folded fault block mountain". There is a large Emei thrust fault in the southeast, which is cut obliquely with the Emei Mountain anticline, and the fault distance is very large.
The three peaks of Jinding are a single-sided mountain on the west flank of the Emei Mountain anticline that has been greatly uplifted along the large fault of Mount Emei, and after a long period of gravity collapse, strong flowing water cutting, erosion remains, steep in the east and gentle in the west. At the top of the one-sided mountain is the highly resistant Late Permian Emeishan basalt, and the thousands of meters thick rock layers above it have been eroded and stripped away.
Under the erosion and collapse, the reverse slope of the eastern side of the single-sided mountain is formed, which is a huge cliff with a relative height of nearly 800 meters and a length of about 20 kilometers. There are many faults in the interior of the Emei Mountain anticline, which are cut vertically and horizontally, forming various fault blocks with different lifting amplitudes, among which the Hongchunping fault block has the largest uplift and annihilation amplitude, resulting in the mountain shape of Mount Emei and many cliffs.

There are two Emeishan Cableways, one is the Wannian Cableway, from the parking lot of Wannian Temple to Wannian Temple. The other is the Golden Dome Cableway, which runs from the Reception Hall to the Golden Dome. The queue will be a little longer during the peak season. >>>More

The body is a little unbearable, my suggestion is: live in Qingyin Pavilion on the first night, and then set off from Qingyin Pavilion at 6 o'clock in the morning the next day, set off from the monkey area to Hongchunping, and strive to reach Lei Dongping at about 7 o'clock in the evening, and take the cable car to the Golden Dome the next morning to watch the sunrise. After reading, walk down the mountain to reach Lei Dongping, walk from Jiulinggang to Wannian Temple, and return to the city by car after reaching Wannian Temple. >>>More
