Longtan is located in Qu County, eastern Sichuan Province.

Longtan is a provincial-level Longtan Hanque Scenic Area. The total area of the scenic area is planned to be square kilometers, of which the water area is 20 square meters, including Longtan, Hanque, Danqu Pass, Danqu City, Bameng Mountain, Qujiang River, Yunwu Mountain, Wanliping eight sub-scenic spots, forming the natural scenery centered on Longtan of Huaying Mountain, the cultural landscape of Tuxi Hanque and Danqu City as the main state body, and the water green corridor with Qujiang River as the link.

Black Dragon Pond is located at the foot of the five old peaks of Longquan Mountain in the northern suburbs of Kunming City.

Longquan Mountain in Black Dragon Pond, there are two pools of pond water at the foot of the mountain, one clear and one turbid, the area is 600 square meters in total, it is connected to each other but the turbidity is not clear, the clarity is not turbid, it is a wonder. Black Dragon Pond is known as "the first ancient temple in central Yunnan".

At the same time, it is also famous for Tang Mei, Song Bai, Yuanshan, Ming Tea (ancient trees planted in the Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty and Ming Dynasty), and there are several acres of plum forests, and there is an endless stream of citizens who enjoy plum blossoms in winter.

The historical origin of Black Dragon Pond

The Black Dragon Pond is a famous Taoist resort, divided into two views, which evolved from the Black Water Temple in the Han Dynasty. The upper view was built in the Tang and Song dynasties, and was originally called the Longquan Temple, and the lower view was built in the Ming Dynasty, commonly known as the Heishui Palace.

According to the Hanshu Geographical Chronicle, there is a black water temple in the northwest of Dianchi County, Yizhou County. Ruan Yuan, the governor of Yunnan and Guizhou in the Qing Dynasty, researched the clouds: "There is a black water temple in Dianchi County, which is built here, or between Tangmei and Song Bai, and the Dragon Temple is the one who moved down."

That is to say, the Heishui Temple in the Han Dynasty is now the Black Dragon Pond Taoist Temple, which is the first scenic spot in Yunnan. Because it is said that the dragon palace of the black dragon of Yunnan is here, the pool water here will not be exhausted all year round, so it is called "black dragon pool" later.

Longtan belongs to Qixia District, Nanjing City, located at the east end of Qixia District, west of Qixia Street, south of Baohua Town, Jurong City, north of the Yangtze River, and Liuhe District Longpao Street across the river, managed by Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, the street office is located at No. 8, Fuqian Road, Qixia District. As of 2012, Longtan Street covers an area of about 108 square kilometers and has a population of about 10,000 people. The sub-district has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 19 village committees.

Longtan is known as the "hometown of gold foil", and gold foil products have already entered the international markets such as Europe and Asia, accounting for half of the entire global gold foil industry. In June 2006, "Nanjing Gold Foil Forging Technique" was approved as the first batch of Chinese intangible cultural heritage.

History

Longtan is an ancient town in Nanjing, with a long history, beautiful scenery and outstanding people. According to the "Jurong County Chronicle", "on the back of Longpan, there is a waterhole named Longtan", which is the origin of the name of Longtan Town.

In the Song Dynasty, also known as Longtanpu, it was a part of the Yangtze River Gudu and Huangtiandang. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited the south and personally named "Long'an Ancient Town".

At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the jurisdiction of Longtan Street was divided into Longtan Town, Jurong County and Longtan Township, the Seventh District of Jiangning County.

In July 1953, Longtan Town, which was under the jurisdiction of Jurong and Jiangning counties, was assigned to the ninth district of Nanjing.

In November 1958, Longtan Town established Renjixiang Stuffy Commune, which has jurisdiction over 3 townships and 1 town. In 1961, Longtan Town was carved out from Longtan Commune and restored the town system, which belonged to the leadership of Xuanwu District.

In July 1962, Longtan Town was placed under the jurisdiction of the Nanjing Suburban Office.

In May 1987, Huayuan Township of Jiangning County was assigned to Qixia District and merged into Longtan Town in October 1993.

On December 25, 2002, according to the approval of the city's first document, Longtan Town was abolished and the Longtan Sub-district Office was established. The office has 4 village committees and 6 community residents' committees.

In 2005, Jing'an Town was abolished and Jing'an Street was established.

In July 2012, Jing'an Street was abolished and its administrative area was reorganized into Longtan Street. After the zoning adjustment, the area under the jurisdiction of Longtan Street is square kilometers. The original Longtan Street has jurisdiction over 4 communities and 6 administrative villages, and the original Jing'an Street has jurisdiction over 3 communities and 13 administrative villages.

Jiulong Lake is a world natural heritage site and the northern core area of the world geopark in Taining County, Fuhao Qijian Province.

It is about 15 kilometers away from Taining County, about 19 kilometers away from Taining Railway Station, 14 kilometers away from Taining Toll Station of Expressway, adjacent to Shangqing River, Hongshigou and Zhuangyuan Rock of Liquid Chailing, and is named after the gathering pool of nine mountain streams and springs that meander like dragons around it.

Jiulong Lake is a piece of Danxia Canyon Group with the highest density and complexity in composition, and is a typical area for the development of Danxia landform in Taining's youth, with diverse changes in lakes, streams, mountains, valleys, rocks, peaks and ditches, and is known as "Taining Danxia Landscape Miniature Pearl".
