Guanyin Bridge Scenic Area is a scenic area with Guanyin Bridge as the center. Guanyin Bridge, formerly known as Qixian Bridge, also known as Three Gorges Bridge, is one of the oldest stone arch bridges in China.

Guanyin Bridge was built in the seventh year of Xiangfu in the Northern Song Dynasty (1014) by the three brothers of Jiangzhou craftsman Chen. It is about 24 meters long, about 4 meters wide, a single hole spans the deep stream between Dahanyang Peak and Wulao Peak, and is made of 105 pieces of granite with five rows of the same type weighing more than one ton each, the structure is tight, the shape is beautiful, although it has been thousands of years, it is still fastened as before, and is known as a pearl in the history of bridge construction in southern China. There is Zhaoyin Spring, which is known as "the sixth spring in the world" in the east of the bridge, which is clear in color and sweet in taste.

The deep stream under the bridge is called the Three Gorges Stream, there are 24 pools on the stream, among which even the deep pond is the most, its shape is like a mortar, just like the artificial digging and chiseling. There are white stones on the pond such as a flock of sheep, also known as "five sheep". Guanyin Bridge is known as one of the two unique Kuanglu in the "Lushan Chronicle Tour", in 1988 it was included in the national key protection cultural relics, there are Feng Yuxiang's "ink character chapter" stone carvings in the area, Chiang Kai-shek, Song Meiling once lived in the Zhongzheng Palace and the hand-planted husband and wife tree and one of the five major jungles of Lushan Qixian Temple and other cultural attractions.

The prosperity of Guanyin Bridge starts from Xiangguo Temple, and the location of this Xiangguo Temple is the location of the original district government, which is now Guanghua Guanfu International.

Xiangguo Temple was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, north of the Jialing River, the west side of Huaxin Street, and Gele Lingyin, Longmen Haoyue belong to the same Bayu Twelve Scenes, was destroyed in 1964.

In the early 60s of the last century, people from Jiangbei wanted to go to the other side of the Jialing River, they had to take a ferry from Xiangguosi Wharf to Niujiaotuo.

As a freight distribution center, Xiangguosi Wharf has naturally become a gathering place for traders and citizens from all walks of life, with shops and restaurants abounding.

Later, the number of people living around the wharf increased day by day, and gradually the most prosperous and lively street market in Jiangbei was spontaneously formed here, which was also the beginning of Guanyin Bridge to prosperity.

Many cultural relics have been found near the Guanyin Bridge.

On March 31, 2000, on a slope of the former Jiangbei District Government (now Guanghua-Guanfu International), an independent tomb composed of a tomb door, a tomb road and a tomb chamber was found during the greening construction.

The tomb is made of stone, is in the shape of a roll arch hand, takes out more than a dozen pieces of pottery products from the tomb, imitates the squatting pottery dog, hairpin female pottery figurine, wheel model (remnant), unearthed Bi Da Xuan "two baht" round copper coin, well preserved, in addition unearthed Song Dynasty "Jinghe" and "Yongguang" money, the color is natural, the handwriting is clear and legible.

The excavation of these ancient Song coins not only enriched the physical materials of China's monetary history, but also played a role in supplementing history.

In addition, there are more than 20 pieces of celadon and copper kettles, pottery pots, copper hairpins, bracelets, rings, and necklaces, including a tray of celadon with a lid that has never been seen before.

More than 280 pieces of cultural relics such as various terracotta figurines and pottery animals, pottery cars, stone stoves, and copper coins were unearthed from the tomb, but the identity of the owner of the tomb is still unknown

At that time, flash floods in Tiantai Mountain were often raging, and the bridge was repeatedly built and destroyed. During the Ming Dynasty, the mountain people raised huge sums of money to repair this bridge, and invited the statue of Guanyin to sit in the town, so it is called Guanyin Bridge. In the Qing Dynasty, the Guanyin Bridge was destroyed by the mountain flood again, and invited the ancestor to sit in the town, hoping to be able to combine the power of Guanyin and the ancestor of the mountain to subdue the mountain flood, so this bridge is also called the ancestor bridge.

There was a legend of Guanyin Bodhisattva's apparition here: according to legend, in ancient times, the mountains and rivers here were beautiful, and all things were clustered, so there were lions, elephants, dragons, snakes, turtles, monkeys, magpies, and foxes eight kinds of spirits, which devoured people and animals, and mutilated living beings. The local people invited Guanyin to the lower realm, subdued the eight essences, and kept the peace of one side here, so the descendants built a Guanyin temple, because the Guanyin temple was built on a big rock, so this place is also called "Guanyin Rock".

In 1965, a dam was built in Guanyin Rock, and Guanyin Rock became Guanyin Lake with nine islands and eighteen rivers and a water surface of 10,000 acres, forming a spectacular scene of "swallowing the source water of the three counties, and the tail system of rice and wheat in thousands of towns". The clear and beautiful Guanyin Lake, now the lake and mountains, the strange peaks are showing, the fish jumps and the kites fly, the tourists fish, the fishing boat sings at night, it can be called a bright pearl in the northeast of Xiaogan City.
