Master Jingkong--- the good roots, merits, and causes mentioned in the Mida Sutra, these three conditions cannot be without any of them, and we must encounter good karma. There are two kinds of good karma: one is to encounter true and good knowledge, which brings you into contact with the Fa-rectification, which is the first important condition; Second, you meet good fellow practitioners, and they are together with each other to encourage each other and achieve Taoism.
Those who are righteous and take the vows and practice blessings have been practicing for an extremely long time. It is the root of the synthesis of all goodness, which is really valuable. 】
What the Buddha is talking about is ourselves, we don't know, we don't know what happened in our past lives, so even though we have good roots, we often don't encounter good karma, and that doesn't work. If you have good roots and good fortune, if you can't meet good karma, it's a pity, and this life will be empty again. The good roots, merit, and karma mentioned in the Mida Sutra cannot be without any of these three conditions, and we must encounter good karma.

If we don't have a clear understanding and are not strong-willed, we can easily waver, and we can easily be influenced by them and become an obstacle to our own practice.
Therefore, good knowledge and good fellow practitioners are important factors in whether or not we can achieve success in this life.
You must know that your good roots are very deep, and you have decided not to give up on yourself, it is a pity to give up on yourself! It is necessary to grasp the great causes of this life and decide to achieve it. Why?
With the deep roots of goodness in our past lives, and with the blessings of the Buddhas and Buddhas, we have a firm belief that nothing will not be fulfilled.

If you work backwards: Afflictions are caused by the desire to possess all kinds of gains and losses; Desire is due to the excesses of love, the loss of self-psychological control, whether it is a person or a thing; Love, on the other hand, is the perception of the outside world by various psychological sensations and sensory functions of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and body, and finally assembles into different consciousnesses in the heart, and produces various feelings of joy and sorrow on these consciousnesses; The functioning of all mental and bodily organs is driven by the behavior of various judgments, and the root of this drive is wrong judgment and thinking, i.e., ignorance.
That is what Buddhism says, "Ignorance is the root of action (the intention to act), action is the root of consciousness (consciousness driven), awareness is the root of knowing the name (world), and the name and color are due to the six elements (referring to the physical and mental receptors), the six elements produce touch (contact), touch produces feelings, love gives rise to love, love produces possession and taking, the act of taking produces all kinds of beings (behavioral consequences), and there are sufferings such as birth, old age, sickness, and death, and suffering becomes the cause of ignorance, and it continues a cycle of samsara."
