CAD does not have the function to turn a single line into multiple lines. If you need to have multiple lines, you can use the Multiline command to draw lines, which can be used to draw lines with various characteristics.
Before drawing a multiline, you need to configure the characteristics of the multiline. Click "Format" in the menu bar - "Multiline Style" - click "New" - in the pop-up New Multiline Style dialog box, you can set the multiline we need. As shown in Fig
Here's what each of the features in the dialog box above means:
Description: Add a description for the multiline style.
Capping: Controls multiline start and end caps.
Line: Displays straight line segments that pass through each end of the multiline.
Outer Arc: Displays the arc between the outermost elements of the multiline.
Inner Arc: Displays the arc between pairs of internal elements. If there are an odd number of elements, the centerline is not connected.
For example, if there are 6 elements, the inner arc connects elements 2 and 5, elements 3 and 4. If there are 7 elements, the inner arc connects elements 2 and 6, elements 3 and 5. Element 4 is not connected.
Angle: Specifies the angle at which the end cap is made.
Fill: Controls the background fill of multiple lines.
Fill Color: Sets the background fill color for multiple lines. If you select Select Color, the Select Color dialog box is displayed.
Show Connections: Controls the display of connections at the vertices of each multiline segment. Splices are also known as miters.
Element: Sets element properties for new and existing multiline elements, such as offset, color, and linetype.
Offset, Color, and Linetype: Displays all elements in the current multiline style. Each element in a style is defined by its center, color, and its linetype relative to the multiline. Elements are always displayed in descending order by their offset values.
Add: Adds a new element to the multiline style. This option is available only if you have selected a color or linetype for a multiline style other than Standard.
Delete: Deletes the element from the multiline style.
Offset: Specifies an offset value for each element in the multiline style.
Color: Displays and sets the color of the elements in the multiline style. If you select Select Color, the Select Color dialog box is displayed.
Linetype: Displays and sets the linetype of the elements in the multiline style. If you select Linetype, the Select Linetype Properties dialog box appears, which lists the loaded linetypes.
To load a new linetype, click Load. The Load or Reload Linetype dialog box appears.

offset, write the offset distance, and then select the offset direction, inward or outward, OK.

Modify - Object - Polyline - Select "J"."- Select a closed single line - OK.

I'm having this dilemma too....
-
It doesn't seem to be going back.
I'd like to ask you what the purpose of merging together is, and see if other methods can achieve the goal.

To take advantage of the PE command in CAD.
1. First of all, we first enter the shortcut key "L" of the straight line, and draw a straight line casually.
2. Draw a few more straight lines, each of which is a separate straight line, not a polyline.
3. Enter the "pe" command.
4. The PE command defaults to one, so we need to enter "m" to become a multiple-bar selection.
5. Select all the lines you just drew and press the space bar to confirm the selected object.
6. Select "Merge" in the options in the pop-up dialog box
7. This is what we found that pops up an "input blur distance", and we default to 0<>
8. After the input distance is 0, confirm it in the space and find that 4 line segments have been added to the polyline.
9. esc can exit the pe command, and the 5 straight lines just drawn will become polylines.
-
You can use the PE command to turn multiple lines into polylines at once in CAD software, as described in the following steps.
1. First open the CAD software on the computer, and then draw three demonstration line segments. Enter the shortcut command pe and press Enter.
2. Then enter the shortcut command M according to the prompts, and press the enter key.
<>4. Then according to the command bar problem, directly enter the shortcut command y, and press enter.
5. Then find the "Merge" option and enter the shortcut J according to the command.
6. Then the situation shown in the following picture appears, just press the enter key directly.
7. After completing the above settings, you can turn multiple lines into polylines at once in CAD.

The steps for CAD to break a polyline are as follows:
Tools Required: CAD.
1. Open the AutoCAD software in the computer, operate in AutoCAD, and the AutoCAD operation interface is shown in the following figure;
2. After opening the CAD software, pop up the operation interface and draw a polyline in the operation chain area;
3. After drawing a polyline, enter the scattering command x in the command bar, and then press the spacebar to confirm, and then slide to scatter the line;
4. After entering the command, follow the prompts to pick up the polyline in the diagram and select it as the object of scattering;
5. After selecting the object to be scattered, press the spacebar to confirm, and you can break the polyline.

You can use the merge command of CAD software and the basic command of multiple line segments to dry the ears to close multiple line segments, please refer to the following steps for specific operations.
1. Open the CAD software on the computer and draw multiple line segments in the figure below.
2. Then directly enter the "pe" command, and then press the enter key to enable the pedit function.
3. Because it is multiple line segments, enter multiple commands "m" again and press enter.
4. Then click with the mouse to select multiple line segments that need to be closed, and then press the enter button.
5. Then ask if you want to convert straight lines and arcs into multi-line segments, enter "y" at this time, and press enter.
6. Then find the "Merge" option in the pop-up drop-down menu and click on it.
7. After completing the above settings, you can close the multi-line operation in the CAD software.

1. After opening the CAD, we find the polyline option in the drawing.
2. Select the polyline and draw a figure in the drawing area.
3. Select the drawing to see that there are grips on the graph.
4. We select the grip point on the edge of the graph and then drag the left mouse button, we can see that the selected edge will move with it, and if you continue to draw after the CAD polyline is broken, it can become a polyline.
-
The specific steps to break a polyline in CAD are as follows:
The materials we need to prepare are: computer, CAD.
1. First of all, we open the required CAD drawing, enter "X" in the command bar, and then press the space bar.
2. Then we click on the polyline we want to break in the pop-up window.
3. Then we press the spacebar again.
-
There is a break instruction in CAD, you can select a line to break at multiple points, and you can split it into a polyline. It is mainly based on your own needs to interrupt.

A CAD polyline is actually a "block" that is automatically generated by multiple elements. After selecting this multi-line segment, click "Explode" on the right side of the screen, and you're good to go.
