The IELTS test schedule is as follows.

Listening: Saturday morning 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m

Reading: 9:35 – 10:35

Writing: 10:40 – 11:40

Candidates taking the IELTS paper-based test:

Please arrive at the test center before 07:30 on the day of the written test to register for the test, and make a series of important pre-test preparations, such as placing personal belongings, ID card checking, fingerprint verification, check-in and admission, explaining the rules of the test room, listening equipment audition, and filling in the personal information on the answer sheet. 30。Candidates taking the computer-delivered IELTS test:

Morning written test: Please arrive at the test center before 07:30 on the day of the written test to register for the test, and make a series of important pre-test preparations, such as personal belongings, ID card checks, fingerprint verification, check-in and admission, explanation of the rules of the test room, and login to the computer-based test system.

Admission ends at 08:30.

Afternoon written test: Please arrive at the test center before 12:30 on the day of the written test to register for the test, and make a series of important pre-test preparations, such as personal belongings, ID card checking, fingerprint verification, check-in and admission, explanation of the rules of the test room, and login to the computer-based test system.

Admission ends at 13:30.

Oral test: Candidates are requested to arrive at the test center 30 minutes before the oral test time to register for the test, and make a series of important pre-test preparations, such as sign-in, placement of personal belongings, explanation of the rules of the test room, fingerprint scanning, on-site photography, ID card check, and check-in. The closing time for the oral examination is 15 minutes before the oral examination time.

The October IELTS test will be held in October.

Registration Requirements:

1.Chinese mainland candidates register with a valid second-generation ID card or passport, Hong Kong and Macao candidates register with a valid ID card or passport, Taiwan candidates register with a valid Taiwan Resident Travel Permit (Taiwan Compatriot Permit), and Chinese active duty military personnel register with a valid military ID card or ID card.

2.Non-Chinese candidates should register with a valid passport. The identity documents that are not accepted for IELTS registration include but are not limited to: first-generation ID card, household registration booklet, household registration certificate, driver's license, student ID card, work permit, Hong Kong and Macao travel permit, etc.

IELTS test content:

The IELTS test consists of four sections, which are Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

Listening: 30 minutes plus 10 minutes to transcribe answers. Candidates listen to four recordings, which increase in difficulty as the exam progresses.

These recordings include monologues and dialogues in which candidates will hear different English accents and dialects. The recording can only be listened to once, but it will give the candidate some time to read the questions and record the answers.

Academic reading: 60 minutes. Candidates will read three passages with questions after the text. Articles are selected from books, magazines, periodicals and newspapers, and do not require the reader's expertise. At least one article contains a detailed argument.

Essays will be taken from newspapers, advertisements, manuals and books to test candidates' ability to understand and use information. The test consists of a longer descriptive rather than an argumentative essay.

In the second part, candidates are required to write a short essay of about 250 words about a problem or idea, and they are required to be able to discuss and argue the problem in an appropriate tone and register.

Training Writing: 60 minutes. The first part requires candidates to write a letter of about 150 words asking for information or explaining a situation.

The second part requires candidates to write a short essay of approximately 250 words based on the question or point of view given, and the candidate is required to be able to express his or her point of view and refute other points of view using the appropriate tone and register (including vocabulary, grammar, etc.).

IELTS Test Process:

00-8:20, arrive at the test centre and check the classroom at the entrance of the test room according to the registration number on the IELTS test confirmation letter.

From 00 to 8:30, enter the examination room, and no entry after 8:30.

00-9:30, listen to the part.

30-9:40, IELTS listening time to fill in the answer sheet.

40-9:45, the listening paper is collected, the reading paper is distributed, the listening answer sheet is not accepted, and the reading paper is followed by a double-sided page, which can quickly complete the personal information related to the reading part after completing the answers to the listening test, which can free up more time for the reading test.

45-10:45, Reading, if there is no extra time to fill out the answer sheet, you need to allocate the time reasonably.

45-10:50, answer sheets are collected, writing papers are distributed.

50-11:50, Writing section.

10. Speaking: Please arrive at the speaking test room 15-30 minutes in advance according to the time specified in the confirmation letter on Saturday afternoon or Sunday half-day, and wait for identity confirmation and test.
