One. Pre-installation testing.
2. Prepare a monitor or DVR, the DVR can be embedded or PC, and the software is fully configured.
3. Before powering on, figure out the power supply voltage of the camera, and test the power supply voltage with a multimeter, and the voltage deviation of the test is 10% of the standard voltageIt is forbidden to use a power supply beyond this standard.
4. Match the lens for the fixed camera, pay attention to the interface between the lens and the camera, whether it is a C-type interface or a C-type interface (this should be remembered, otherwise it is very likely to damage the CCD chip of the camera when the C-type lens is screwed directly into the CS interface camera), if it is an integrated fixed camera, this step can be omitted.
5. When installing the lens, first remove the protective cover of the camera and the lens, and then gently screw the lens into the lens interface of the camera and make it in place. For auto-iris lenses, the lens's control cable should also be connected to the camera's auto-iris connector.
6. Test AGC on OFF (automatic gain control), ATW on OFF (automatic white balance), ALC ELC (automatic brightness control electronic brightness control), BLC on OFF (backlight compensation switch), LL INT (synchronous selection switch), Video DC (lens control signal selection switch), soft sharp (detail level selection switch), Flickerle (no flicker mode) and other functions, and make test records. Whether it meets the actual needs of the site.
7. For PTZ and fast ball, according to the manual, the address, baud rate, and protocol coding of the decoder board are marked, and the address code is encoded in order according to the number of the camera, and if there are no special requirements for the protocol, pelco is generally selected, and the baud rate is 2400kps, and the corresponding settings are made on the DVR or matrix.
8. According to the manual, enter the dome or gimbal menu, and for the outdoor type, set the camera function to day and night conversion type.
9. Rotate the left and right rotation of the PTZ or fastball, and carry out the zoom test of the lens of the camera, in the farthest and closest state, and record the test results.
10. Set a number of fastball preset positions, and then test whether the fastball meets the needs of the design by adjusting the preset point.

IP camera is an intelligent product with an independent IP address and an embedded operating system to achieve network monitoring. It can be connected directly to the network via a LAN, DSL connection, or wireless network adapter. A network camera consists of a lens, optical filter, image sensor, digital compression controller, and an embedded operating system.
The new network cameras can also be equipped with other more advanced features such as motion monitoring.
How to install a network camera?
1. Select the lens:
The network camera should be equipped with a suitable lens according to the conditions before use. The lenses include prime lenses or zoom lenses, auto and manual aperture lenses, standard, wide range, telephoto lenses, etc. In addition, the installation should also take more attention, which is C or CS type.
The difference between them is that the C back is longer than the CS mount. C-mount lenses, as well as CS-mounts, are available in 1" diameter with 32 TPI (per inch).
1) Uninstall the interface cover. 2) Rotate the lens until tightly pressed. 3) Insert the lens into the lens socket. (When omitting the fixed manual control aperture lens) 4) Rotate the focus distance, adjust the screw, adjust the focal length of the lens type.
2. Adjust aperture and focus:
Turn off the electronic shutter, backlight compensation and other switches, adjust the aperture and focus, so that the image is best displayed on the monitor. If the camera will be used in different lighting conditions, it is best to equip it with an automatic iris. If a manual aperture is selected, the adjusted lens should also be fixed to the housing and bracket.
3. Adjust the back focus.
In many cases, when you change a lens, you won't be asked to adjust the back focal length. You will need to do so if the lens does not hold the focus at both ends of the zoom range. By adjusting the rear focal length, you change the distance between the lens of the camera and the back of the CMOS chip.
However, not all lenses are capable of rear focal length adjustment.
Adjust the back focus.
Before you begin, place the camera on a tripod and adjust the camera's viewfinder as it is the center of attention. Ideally, you'll want to test your surveillance camera with a pattern map (which looks like a dartboard) and keep the camera as close as possible to 75 feet away from the pattern map. If you don't have a test chart, you can use a book instead.
1。Set the aperture to manual. 2。
Set to manual zoom. 3。Open the aperture, maximum aperture.
If the lighting on the test chart is too bright, open the aperture, reduce the light or shift the table to a darker area. 4。Extreme telephoto rotation zoom.
5。The focus is on the chart. 6。
Set the zoom wide angle. 7。Unscrew the rear focus ring fixing knob.
8。Adjust the focus ring until the sharpest focus. 9。
Repeat steps 4 to 8 until the focus is consistently clear. 10。Tighten the back focus ring fixing knob to secure the ring.

How exactly should the camera be installed?
-
There is a driver for the first installation of the camera, after plugging in the camera, there is a camera-like icon in my computer, this is your camera icon, open it to take pictures and adjust the camera.
-
Please be specific about the purpose of the installation---
The first is the cleaning of the shell, which can be wiped with a wet paper towel quickly, not too wet, in this way, it is easy to accidentally enter the water into the camera, so it is not good, after all, the camera is a relatively expensive instrument, generally water is easy to break, even if it is not broken, it is easy to affect the quality of the photos taken. When the wet paper towel is wiped quickly, it is necessary to use the dry one to wipe out the moisture brought by the wet paper towel. >>>More
