For example, the cover page and table of contents do not need page numbers, and page number 1 is inserted on the third page, then do this: word2010 in turn

Insert the page number first, put the cursor at the end of the document on page 2, and click "Next" under the "Page Layout" Separator" drop-down menu (remember to insert section breaks, as shown in Figure 1). This inserts a section break between page 2 and the following page. (The purpose of inserting section breaks is to keep them from affecting each other).

At this point, page 3 may not be numbered from the first page, but we actually want page 3 to start with "1". In this case, you need to select the page number on page 3 first, and uncheck the "Link to previous header" under the "Design" menu (as shown in Figure 2). After selecting the page number, right-click "Format Page Number" Select "Start Page Number" and manually fill in "1" OK, of course, you can now delete the page numbers on pages 1-2, and rest assured that it will not affect the following page numbers, because they have been separated by section breaks.

word2013 sets the page number from the specified page, inserts a section break at the beginning of the page that specifies the start page number, and then unlinks it to the previous header, and then starts to set the page number.

The specific steps are as follows:

    1. Open the Word 2013 document, insert the section break at the top of the page that needs to start the page number setting, click the "Divider Sail Side Script" in the page layout and select the "Next Section" below the section break.

    2. On the page of the start page, click "Page Number" in the Insert tab bar, and select the page number style that needs to be inserted.

    3. Click on the page number position, and then click "Link to the previous filial piety header" in the "Header and Footer Tools", unselect the state, and delete the page number of the previous section.

    4. Return to the Word main document, and you can find that the page number has been successfully set from the specified page.
