The 59th NBA All-Star Game will be held at the Cowboys, a professional football team, in Dallas, from February 13 to 15, 2010. CCTV5 broadcasts the whole process. This All-Star Game weekend event will be co-hosted by the Mavericks, Cowboys and the City of Dallas.
The new $1.1 billion Cowboys Stadium will have more than 100,000 seats, and the NBA All-Star Game will be the first event hosted by the stadium's four major professional leagues after completion, while breaking an NBA record for the most viewers in a single game. However, the rookie game and slam dunk and three-point contest of the All-Star Weekend event will be held on the Mavericks' home court.
