Or if you eat a lot, you will have a kind of food sleepiness, and you want to sleep after eating. If you adjust your diet just right, you don't eat too much, and you don't eat too much, that is, you are not too full and not hungry, and you will sleep a little less in the middle way.

Sleep like a poisonous snake. If you are willing to practice, don't sleep so much; Worshipping the Buddha more, reciting more sutras, and holding more mantras are spiritual practices. The more you sleep, the more stupid you become, the more stupid you are, the more you want to sleep, and you always feel that you can't sleep enough.

This is a big obstacle to spiritual practice, and this is called karma, and often thinking about sleeping is karma.

Are we sincere and respectful to people, things, and things?

5 Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are all respectful, and their decisions are equal and pure, with no superiority or inferiority, and no distinction. So we offer statues of the Buddha, because we are respectful to the Buddha, and when we are respectful to the Buddha, we immediately think: I have to be respectful to all living beings, and I have to be respectful to all things.

6 The scripture says, "All living beings become Buddhas." So, you have to respect every living being as if they were Buddhas, and that's the first meaning of making offerings to Buddha images, which is called true offerings. This offering Buddha statue is decided to be auspicious!

7 The second meaning of offering to the Buddha is to repay kindness. The Buddha was our first teacher, and we are able to receive the special benefits of the Dharma today, and we should not forget the fundamental teacher. So when we make offerings to the Buddha, we don't treat Him as a god, but as a teacher.

As soon as I see the Buddha statue, I want to be enlightened, I want to learn from the Buddha!

8 The statue of the Buddha is placed there, reminding me that I am not confused, and this is what it means. Secondly, when I see this Buddha statue, I know that I am also a Buddha. I don't think nonsense, I'm a Buddha; I'm cranky, I'm just a mortal. Therefore, becoming a Buddha and becoming an ordinary man is just a thought of yourself!

To offer one Buddha is to make offerings to all Buddhas.

Offering to the Buddha with joy, with joy, wishing for the supreme perfection of wisdom, benefiting the minds of all sentient beings, and offering to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, that is, offering to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. It is the best offering. If you understand your pure nature, you can become a Buddha and Bodhisattva.

Shakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Amitabha Buddha (one more Amitabha Buddha, please), these three are placed on the first layer, and Shakyamuni Buddha is in the middle.

The next layer is placed by the Bodhisattvas.

Buddha and Bodhisattva are great achievers, great compassion, boundless mana, if you need to enshrine and place, you don't need to choose the day, pick the hour, look at the feng shui, set the direction, "a Buddha breaks ten thousand evils", unrestricted. Therefore, there is no need to pay attention to the direction of the orientation, you think it is good to be solemn; The hour does not need to be chosen, respectfully, which moment is a good time, the so-called "sincerity is spiritual", this is what it means.

As for the popular sayings about the time and direction, they are all misunderstandings of Buddhism in the world, so we should not confuse faith with superstition and customs. It's just that there is a folk custom that makes the statue of Buddha and Bodhisattva face the doors and windows, which means "open the door to see blessings (Buddha and blessing homonym), which is acceptable."

We ordinary people have confidence in our own wood, so we need to have external things (such as statues, Buddhist beads, pendants, etc.) to enhance it; If you really have a Buddha in your heart, it doesn't matter if you have a statue or not, because you are a Buddha when you open your eyes and close your eyes, inside and outside your heart.
