Why are there no solar power plants in western China?

There is only one main reason: poverty, even the wealthier parts of China do not make much use of solar energy, let alone the west.

At present, only Jiangsu and Zhejiang areas in China use more solar energy, and the people there have brains!

At present, half of the world's solar cells are produced in China, and in recent years, the European Union and Germany have purchased the most. Solar energy is a high-input industry, very expensive, (but not inefficient), but the calculation method of European countries includes environmental pollution control in the cost, so I think it is very cost-effective. However, China's calculation method does not include environmental treatment fees, so the cost is super expensive!

Taking solar street lights as an example, the cost of a 40W solar street lamp is at least 14,500 yuan, which is at least twice the cost of conventional street lights, and ordinary investors will choose conventional street lights. But in fact, a 250W conventional power supply high-pressure sodium lamp, a year of electricity and operating costs of 1364 yuan, by saving electricity costs, about 8 years can recover the cost difference. Moreover, the service life of solar street lights is 20 years, and the service life of conventional street lights is about 8 years, plus the construction of conventional street lights also has to lay underground cables, and its management and maintenance costs are very high.

In the long run, solar street lights do not consume energy, and the economic benefits are very considerable.

So solar energy is a long-term benefit and worth the investment! However, judging from China's national conditions, how can an ordinary leader have a term as long as 20 years, and he must make political achievements every year! This session has a lot of investment, but the political achievements are later, who cares!

Besides, management and maintenance are all expenses, solar energy, after a single investment, there is no way to ask for money, so how can it work. And the management and maintenance will not be laid off! How difficult it is to solve the problem of employment.

Therefore, the lack of solar energy in the west is determined by a combination of factors such as the gap between the rich and the poor and national conditions. However, now is not the time for the large-scale development of the western region, maybe the policy will be tilted, and it would be good.

1. Although the western region is vast, the utilization efficiency of wind resources is greater than that of solar energy;

2. Although solar energy is good, its scientific and technological content is relatively high, and the investment is high and the efficiency is low, so it is not suitable for large-scale promotion in the western region.

Photovoltaic power generation itself does not use fuel, does not emit any substances including greenhouse gases and other exhaust gases, does not pollute the air, does not produce noise, is environmentally friendly, and will not suffer from the impact caused by the energy crisis or fuel market instability, and is a new renewable energy source that is truly green and environmentally friendly.

5. The photovoltaic power generation process does not require cooling water, and can be installed on the desert Gobi without water.
