TOEFL writing is like an eight-strand essay, there is a fixed format, and if the format is right, at least you can add a lot more points.

The first paragraph is the main paragraph. The second paragraph, the first sentence, is the main sentence, followed by the first example. The last sentence, the concluding sentence.

The third paragraph, the first sentence, is the subject sentence, followed by the second example. The last sentence, the concluding sentence.

The fourth paragraph, the first sentence, is the main sentence of the paragraph, followed by a third example. (Generally, three examples are enough to write an article) and the last concluding sentence.

The last paragraph, the general stage, basically rewrite the last sentence of the second, third and fourth paragraphs in disguise, and then look forward to the future.

Finally, tip: never use the first person, i or we, our, my, etc., and neither you. It's not official. If you are in the third person throughout, the examiner will have a good impression after reading it, and you can add points.

The process of TOEFL writing revision is a process of improvement, and it is absolutely impossible to throw it aside without changing it after writing, so that it can only stay at the original level. It is recommended that you write a few articles without a time limit, and immediately print it out after writing a word-by-word modification, replace the overly simple words and sentences one by one, pay attention not to use too difficult words and uncertain words, you can use 6-level vocabulary is almost, if you want to add a more difficult vocabulary, it is recommended that you use a dictionary to find out the corresponding words, use them in the article, and copy the meaning, part of speech, usage and collocation of the word to the notebook. Is it okay to write simple sentences? OK. Is it okay to write all simple sentences?

Apparently not. When expressing a straightforward point, using overly complex sentence patterns will make the meaning of the sentence obscure, which will hinder the reader's comprehension of the article. What we pursue is the combination of long and short rounds and the combination of difficulty of expression, and it is best to avoid using complex sentences if it can be expressed in simple sentences.

Usually when you do TOEFL independent writing practice, you can use as many sentence patterns as possible, try more, find something that suits you, can not only remember, but also be able to use flexibly, in combination with the sentence pattern selection provided by the teacher in class, then you will gradually find your own sentence structure and paragraph structure during the time-limited mock test, and form your own fixed template routine. With your own idiomatic sentence patterns, you will get twice the result with half the effort when you take the exam.

Comprehensive writing: I think it's basically a listening test. Because reading articles can be read again, and writing is also focused on listening content. Therefore, you must work listening.

At least I haven't seen that reading and listening are in agreement) After understanding this, when you read the reading, you will find the point of view and three sub-arguments, and then wait for the three refutations of listening, as well as the evidence given by the professor (listening is to give the sub-arguments first and then the evidence). This is much more proactive and does not cause too much burden on hearing.
