1. First click the Windows Start button in the lower left corner of the screen, select the device and printer to enter the settings page. Note: It is also possible to access the device and printer through the Hardware and Sound in the Control Panel.
2. On the Devices & Printers page, select Add Printer, this page can add a local printer or add a network printer.
3. After selecting Add Local Printer, you will enter the Select Printer Port Type interface, select the local printer port type and click Next.
4. This page needs to select the manufacturer and printer type of the printer for driver loading, such as Epson LP-2200 printer, click Next after the selection is completed. Note: If Windows 7 does not have your printer type in the list, you can add a printer driver from disk installation.
Or click the Windows Update button and wait for Windows to check for other drivers.
5. The system will display the name of the printer you selected, after confirming that it is correct, click Next to install the driver.
6. After the printer driver is loaded, the system will appear whether to share the printer, you can choose not to share this printer or share this printer so that other users in the network can find and use it. If you choose to share this printer, you need to set a shared printer name.
7. Click Next to add the printer to finish, and the added printer will be displayed in the device. You can check if the device is working properly by printing the test page.
Note: If your computer needs to add two printers, you will be prompted to set it as the default printer for your convenience on the second printer completion page. You can also right-click on the printer device and select Set as default printer to change it.

1. Connect the computer and printer first, click the start menu, and then click Devices and Printers.
2. Then click Add Printer above, select Add Local Printer, and choose to use the existing port.
3. Then click Next, select the manufacturer and printer driver, and click Next.
4. Select Use the currently installed driver and click Next.
5. Enter the printer name and click Next.
6. Choose not to share this printer, click Next, and finally click Done.

Steps to add a printer device to your computer:
1. First of all, click the "Start" icon on the computer desktop, and then find "Devices and Printers" and click to enter.
2. If there is no direct "Device and Printer" option on the page that appears, you can also click on the "Control Panel" at the top and enter.
3. In the "Control Panel" page, find the "Hardware and Sound" option and click to enter.

12. Now, you can choose to share or not share this printer, and after you have selected it, click to proceed to the next step.
13. The system will prompt you that you have successfully added the printer, click Finish.
14. Go back to the "Devices and Printers" page, you can see that the printer has been successfully added here.
