Because Guanyin Bodhisattva had already become a Buddha long before the immeasurable eons, his seniority and qualifications were better than those of Rulai, Burning Lamp and others, known as the "Teacher of the Seven Buddhas". In the past, the honorific name "Dharma Ming Rulai" was famous. We all know that Guanyin Bodhisattva in Journey to the West is a character that has impressed many readers.
He is compassionate, Pudu living beings, and he is also a group of Tang monks and apprentices, on the road of 108,000 miles to learn scriptures, he often moves out of the "rescuer", there is no one. Guanyin's means and supernatural powers have reached the point of unfathomable, and his jade bottle can hold the seawater of a sea; Willow branches can revive the ginseng fruit tree, which is the spiritual root of the world.
His contribution to the study of the scriptures is not insignificant. Even, when Rulai subdued Sun Wukong in Daluo Heaven, he also used the "Guanyin Heart Sutra" as a spell to give the last seal on the Five Elements Mountain. So, why was such a powerful and miraculous Rulai not crowned as a Buddha by the Buddha in the end?
Just kidding, if Guanyin wanted to become a Buddha, he would have become a Buddha a long time ago. Who is Guanyin? The head of the "Four Bodhisattvas" of Lingshan is above the King of Jizo, Fuxian Bodhisattva and others.
Before the immeasurable eon, Guanyin Bodhisattva had already attained the Buddha's fruition, and his honorific title was "Dharma Ming Rulai", and he was also a saint-level power.
This Dharma is as clear as it comes, and before the enlightenment time is brought to the true Buddha, the ancient Buddha who burns the lamp, the Buddha Shakyamuni and others, he has enlightened countless living beings to achieve positive results, so he is respected by people as the "teacher of the seven Buddhas". This "seven" means "immeasurable". It can be seen how high the wisdom of the Fa-rectification is to be clear.
However, later, when the Dharma was clear, and the sentient beings of the Three Realms were found to be suffering in the cycle of the six realms. Therefore, he couldn't bear it, and immediately made a great wish, if he could return to the Three Realms to continue to save sentient beings, he was willing to return his cultivation to the realm of a bodhisattva;
Therefore, he "drove Cihang upside down" and became the Guanyin Bodhisattva who heard the sound and rescued the suffering. It can be said that although he appears to be a bodhisattva on the surface; But it is also the power of the Buddha that no one in the Three Realms does not praise.
-
It was Guanyin himself who was unwilling, and Guanyin's contribution had already had the opportunity to be canonized as a Buddha, but Guanyin couldn't let go of the mortals in this suffering, so he was not canonized as a Buddha.
-
Guanyin had the opportunity to become a Buddha before taking the scriptures, but he was unwilling to become a Buddha. Becoming a Buddha means going to the West Heaven to practice for a long time, and Guanyin can't let go of ordinary mortals who are still struggling in suffering, so he is determined to become a Buddha as long as someone suffers. That's why he is called the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, who is called the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion and Compassion for Saving Suffering.
-
Learning scriptures, is the tribulation that Tianzenzi must go through, Guanyin is equivalent to a guide, although the contribution is great, but many of the difficulties of learning the scriptures are solved by Tang Seng and his party. Guanyin, you haven't survived the calamity of becoming a Buddha yet!
-
No. Although Sun Wukong can become a Buddha, he is a figure who has just achieved Buddhahood, and it is difficult to compare with a Guanyin Bodhisattva.
-
Because in Buddhism, Buddha is the highest title, and Guanyin's name Bodhisattva is secondary, and in terms of name, the status is a little lower.
-
His status is not higher than that of Guanyin Bodhisattva, he became a battle saint Buddha after successfully learning the scriptures, he has no real power, and his status in the West Heaven is not particularly high.
-
In fact, myths are just stories, and many times they have no exact cause, just a deliberate arrangement by the author.
-
After the Tang monk and apprentice obtained the true scriptures, Guanyin was not rewarded because she had the idea of setting up another door, which was despised by the Buddha.
-
It is because Guanyin itself has a very high status and does not have much fame and fortune, so it has not been rewarded.
-
Because due to the negligence of Guanyin Bodhisattva, one of the nine hundred and eighty-one difficulties is missing. Guanyin Bodhisattva cast a spell to make the Tang monks and apprentices who successfully embarked on the way home fall from the clouds to the ground.
-
No wonder after Tang Seng succeeded in learning the scriptures, Guanyin was not rewarded, why? No wonder after Tang Seng succeeded in learning the scriptures, Guanyin was not rewarded, why?
-
Judging from the entire Journey to the West, the status of Guanyin Bodhisattva is originally very high, second only to the Buddha. Originally, he had already become a Buddha because his status was very high. So it's the same whether it's sealed or not.
-
In Journey to the West, Guanyin has made a significant contribution to the study of scriptures, because Guanyin is not a scripture learner, the planner of Guanyin Temple's study of scriptures in the west, he is the middleman who runs errands for the Buddha.
-
Because Guanyin Bodhisattva made mistakes, the white rat spirit only came to the world after stealing the Bodhisattva's lamp oil, so Guanyin Bodhisattva made up for it.
-
Because Guanyin is originally a Buddha. Guanyin has already become a Buddha and is a Buddha under the throne of Nyorai.
-
First of all, Guanyin Bodhisattva is in accordance with the decree of the Buddha (Buddha's will), going to the east to find and select people who can come to the west to learn the scriptures, and the Bodhisattva itself did not participate in the process of learning the scriptures, which is different from the four Tang monks and apprentices who have gone through nine hundred and eighty-one difficulties.
Secondly, according to the original work of "Journey to the West", the person who took the scriptures is the manifestation of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the world, which has two meanings. First, as the vast consummation of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, it is the bodhisattva's compassionate heart to spread the Mahayana Buddhism to the Middle Earth (Nanzhan Buzhou), and the appearance of the old man Wuchao (actually the Bird's Nest Zen Master) illustrates this manifestation to the reader. The second is the image of the four Tang monks and apprentices, which contain certain characteristics of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
From the perspective of Buddhism, Guanyin Bodhisattva developed and evolved from Brahmanism, and the original source is related to the god Shiva in Hindu mythology.
Third, and most importantly, the pointAvalokiteshvara has already become a Buddha. This statement is clearly recorded in Buddhist scriptures. According to the "Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva Vast Perfection Unhindered Great Compassion Dharani Sutra", Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva has become a Buddha in the past immeasurable eons, and the Buddha name isThe Dharma is as clear as it comes
There is also the saying of the Buddha of Immeasurable Light, which may be from different translations. In terms of correct translation, the Buddha of Immeasurable Light is the Buddha of Immeasurable Light, another name for Amitabha Buddha, the leader of the Western Elysium. Guanyin Bodhisattva is one of the three sages of the West and is the attendant bodhisattva of Amitabha Buddha).
However, due to the power of great compassion, the vow is manifested as a bodhisattva in the form of the six realms (Buddhism refers to the different forms of life in samsara, which are divided into the six paths of heaven, the path of asura, the path of humanity, the path of animals, the path of hungry ghosts, and the path of hell). It is equivalent to a Buddha who has attained the highest attainment, who cannot bear the suffering of all beings in the world in samsara, and once again follows the bodhisattva path as a bodhisattva to benefit all sentient beings.
Because of this, Avalokiteshvara has the most widespread belief in Buddhism in China and even in the world. It can be said that Avalokiteshvara is the most concrete manifestation of the teachings of Mahayana Buddhism.
-
Because there is no seal, just like going to work, the boss will not praise you for the completion of your part, and the same is true for Guanyin, if you will not be rewarded for the completion of what Guanyin should have done.
-
Because Guanyin Bodhisattva is already an immortal sitting on one side, his duty is to purify everyone, Tang Seng is the reincarnation of the golden cicada, and its mission is to come to the world and obtain the true scriptures. Therefore, Guanyin Bodhisattva helped Tang Seng to obtain the true scriptures, which was the work he should do, and he did not get an additional reward.
-
Because Guanyin is transmitting the Buddha's will for Rulai in the whole process, and the setting of each level is designed by Rulai himself, which has little to do with Guanyin.
-
I think Kannon helped them through this. It was also one of her tasks. So Rulai did not reward her.
-
In fact, it is because Guanyin itself belongs to a process of bearing mistakes, so many times, even if he has some enlightenment and help, there is no reward.
-
Because Guanyin's status in the Buddha realm is already very high, and it is also very respected, it is difficult to give him any more rewards, and if he gives it again, others may also be unconvinced.
-
Because Guanyin's status in Buddhism is very high, and the Western Heaven scriptures are also planned by him and Rulai, so naturally there is no need for a reward, and there is nothing to reward.
-
Guanyin Bodhisattva is the initiator of the matter of learning scriptures, that is, the organizer, belongs to the internal staff, and Rulai and others are together, and Tang Seng and others are helping them do things, so the reward should be given to Tang Seng and them, and Guanyin Bodhisattva has no reward.
-
Because these are just some of the things that Guanyin Bodhisattva did voluntarily, and no one asked her to do it, she did it completely out of her own volition, so there was no need for a reward.
-
Because Guanyin only accepted the task of finding someone to learn from the scriptures, this is her job, no matter how good or bad the task ends, it is reasonable that there is no reward.
-
Guanyin Bodhisattva seems to have helped Sun Wukong a lot along the way, but in fact, not every time she asks for help, she will shoot, and everything she will be rewarded.
-
I think the main reason is that Guanyin's position is already very high, and even if she wants to be rewarded, there is no higher position suitable for her.
-
In Journey to the West, the four Tang monks encountered many troubles and difficulties on the way to learn the scriptures, but in the end, there was no reward after the success of the scriptures because Guanyin was a Buddhist person, and she would not accept any so-called rewards, so in the end, Guanyin had no reward.
-
Because Guanyin is just doing what he is supposed to do, and he already has a very high status as Guanyin, he doesn't need another reward
-
After the success of learning the scriptures, the reason why Rulai did not reward Guanyin was because this was the work that Guanyin himself had to do, and it was his own duty.
-
Tang monk four disciples after the success of the scriptures are separated, or rewarded, but such as did not reward Guanyin, although the Tang monk and apprentice four people on the road to learn a lot of help from Guanyin, but such as to think that Guanyin these practices should be helped, should be selfless dedication, as Guanyin Bodhisattva, should be generous, regardless of gains and losses.
