Why is my console s power light not on?

If your computer is running normally, that is, the host power light is not on, there are two possibilities, the first is the person who installed the computer, did not plug in the line of the power lamp, the beginning is good, after a while, which socket fell out, not connected well, of course, there is no light, the second reason, is that the power light of the host is broken, no matter which reason, no light does not affect the operation of the computer, just a good-looking problem.

This can be a failure of the power supply, and the general power failure occurs in an average of 80%.

1. First of all, figure out the symbols of the power lamp and the power switch on the line on the front panel of the case, the power switch symbol "pwr" or "pwr-sw", "pwr-bin" are all power switch symbols, and the power light symbol "pwr-led", there are corresponding symbols on the motherboard. (Note: The power switch plug-in cable does not have positive and negative poles, which can be plugged in casually, while the power indicator plug-in cable has positive and negative poles, and the power lamp will not light up if it is plugged in reversely, so you can plug it upside down.)

2. Fault phenomenon: After the boot, the indicator light of the host panel is not lit, and the rotation sound of the power supply fan and the hard disk self-test sound in the host cannot be heard, and the whole system is silent. This is a condition in which the devices in the host computer do not receive normal power supply.

Inspection and treatment method: The fault of the power supply system can be caused by the AC power supply line break, the AC power supply voltage is abnormal, the microcomputer power supply is faulty or there is a short circuit in the host. When the AC power supply voltage is abnormal (overvoltage or undervoltage), the host power supply is no-load and there is a short circuit in the machine, the protection circuit inside the host power supply is activated, and the output of the power supply is automatically cut off to protect the equipment in the host.

3. If the above method cannot be solved, it should be the reason for the motherboard, if it is a brand, please call ** to let the manufacturer repair it and apply for after-sales. Or take it to a computer repair station for repair.

Let's confirm: is it a brand machine, or is it a self-matched machine?

The probability of such a problem in the brand machine is relatively low, after all, after strict testing and delivery, if you are really unfortunate to be bumped into, then send it to the after-sales service!

Unless you buy a well-known chassis or a high-end point, the cost price of the general installed chassis is between 50 and 90 yuan, and the ** for customers is between 90 and 130, except for JS, of course.

Open the case cover, check whether the cable between the case panel and the motherboard is connected properly (the power light is also powered through the motherboard), and if so, make sure that the power light on the host panel is well soldered. The general problem is here, especially some miscellaneous cases, the workmanship is very rough. If possible, you can use a multimeter to test the power lamp (LED light), and the two meter pens of the multimeter are placed on the two lines of the power lamp (the LED light has polarity, and the two meter pens can be replaced), if it is not lit, please replace the power lamp.

If it is on, please measure whether there is a voltage output on the motherboard where the power lamp is connected. You can quickly confirm whether it is a problem with the power lamp or the power output of the motherboard.

It is possible that the power indicator in the case is not connected to the motherboard!!
