    By the way, even if the Cursemon is not a legitimate target for that spell or ability, the Cursemon's ability can still activate, but it will be countered by the rule so it doesn't work, and the original spell or ability still works.

    Attached to the official FAQ of the Cursed Beast:

    Even if Cursemon isn't a legitimate target for the spell or ability, you can still activate Cursemon's ability. However, the goal of the spell or ability remains the same.

    If turning one target of a spell or ability to Cursebeast makes the other targets of that spell or ability illegal, the original target combination remains the same.

    If the spell or ability has more than one target in its wording, which target you choose will change to Cursemon when its ability resolves.

    For spells or abilities that contain more than one Target word, there's a way to change all targets to Cursed Beast one at a time if you activate Cursed Beast's abilities multiple times.

    Unless the Curse Beast meets all of the target's criteria, it will change the target of the spell or ability, even if it has several targets in its wording. For example, you can't change both targets of Arc Trail to Cursed Beast.

    If a spell or ability has multiple targets, but the word target isn't used multiple times in its wording (e.g., Glare Disturber), you can only change one of those targets to Cursed Beast.

    If the number of targets for a spell or ability can change, you can't change the number of targets.

    If the Curse Beast leaves the battlefield before its ability resolves, those targets remain the same.

    Counterspells counter spells that are stacked and can't be applied to permanents.

    Cursemon can only transfer spells or abilities that are legitimate to him to itself.

    The Cursed Beast can't suck back and the target is illegal.

    No. Here's why: Cursemon can target a spell to Cursemon itself, but only if Cursebeast is a legitimate target for the spell or ability.

    As mentioned in the question, the legitimate target of a counterspell is a "spell", but the Cursemon that enters the field is no longer a "creature spell" but a permanent, so it doesn't mean to change the target of the counterspell to Cursemon.

    P.S. The type of spell or ability that the Cursed Beast can change.

    1. Non-transient spells** Instantaneous spells cannot be stacked to activate the Fighting Pants ability, and the ability of the Cursed Beast is the activated Xenobranch);

    2. The legitimate targets of spells include creatures or artifacts on the battlefield;

    3. It's an activated or triggered ability (i.e., an ability that needs to go into the stack is empty, or it won't respond).

    If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
