On the contrary, the layman at home, respecting the upper and lower harmony, filial piety to parents, brothers and sisters, no quarrel with others, no seeking from the world, the six roots are quiet, there are no troubles, the Buddha said that this is the true monkhood, and the Dharma is internal learning, is the cultivation of the mind, not the form. Becoming a monk is a good thing, but it also depends on whether the karma is ripe, the monk is called the teacher of heaven and man, the teacher of heaven and earth, and the merit is great, but the purpose of many people to become a monk is not to continue the life of the Buddha, but to be greedy for merit, temple property, fame and fortune, greedy for the children and grandchildren of the monks, if the monks do not practice well, and are infected with the world's "wealth, sex, fame, food, and sleep", they will definitely fall in the future, and it will be very troublesome.

It is better to become a monk than to practice at home. It can be blessed by the Bodhisattvas of the Ten Directions.
