The sugar content of the high-quality seedless white grapes produced here averages 22 degrees and peaks at 24 degrees, which is nearly double the sweetness of ordinary grapes at around 12 degrees.
What kind of effort does a grape have to go through to turn it into "honey"? The answer is naturally inseparable from the natural geographical conditions of Turpan. Located in the low-lying basin of central Xinjiang, Turpan is particularly suitable for grape growth due to its high temperature, long sunshine hours and large temperature difference between day and night.
At the same time, Turpan's unique geographical location makes Turpan rich in groundwater reserves, making grapes very high in sugar.

In response to this problem, in recent years, Turpan has developed 70 logistics and delivery enterprises, including 17 cold chain storage enterprises, which can store 10,000 tons of seasonal fruits and dried fruits in Turpan at one time.
The freshly picked grapes are immediately sent to the fresh-keeping warehouse for 24 hours, and then loaded into special refrigerated trucks, where the sweetness is spread in all directions with the rolling wheels.
In 2018 alone, Turpan City sold 10,000 tons of table grapes, achieving sales revenue of 100 million yuan, 150,000 tons of raisins, and an annual wine production capacity of 50,000 kiloliters.
