2. Ball grafting method.

It is to graft the seedlings that have been cultivated for more than 3 months onto the tender measuring ruler to promote growth. When the scion grows to a certain size or the rootstock cannot support it, it can be cut off, dried and potted cuttings. In a good environment with fertile soil and good air circulation, the seedlings without grafting also grow quickly.

3. Cuttings.

This is the most commonly used method of reproduction and can be carried out all year round. Cutting small mature pieces from the mother plant, placing them in the shade for half a day, and then cuttings are the key to survival. The cutting substrate should choose materials with good aeration, water retention and good drainage, such as perlite, vermiculite, and river sand.

4. Grafting method.

Propagation by grafting can promote growth and early flowering. In the growing season, except for the high temperature and humidity period, which is not suitable for grafting due to the perishable incision, it can be grafted at other times, but September is the most suitable. The rootstock is a three-edged arrow with a strong affinity for the golden amber.

When grafting, first make horizontal cross-cutting at the appropriate height of the rootstock, then horizontally cut the lower part of the scion ball, immediately after cutting, the scion will be attached to the cutting surface of the rootstock (pay attention to make at least part of the vascular bundle in the center of the scion and the rootstock close), and then tie the pot longitudinally with a thin line, so that the upper and lower incisions are closely connected, and after the grafting is completed, the pot will be placed in a slightly shaded place, covered with plastic film to maintain air humidity, and the binding can be released after 3 to 7 days.
