The 25 stars required for Gold are valid for one year from the date of registration. Because each year's Gold status needs to be added with at least 25 new stars, the previous ones will be cleared.

On each Account Anniversary of your My Starbucks Rewards Account, the Stars awarded free of charge in your Account will expire and the number of Stars will be reset to zero.

Your Starbucks Rewards Account will be checked on each Account Anniversary Date to confirm whether you have added at least 25 Stars in the 12 months prior to the Account Anniversary Date. If the system confirms that at least 25 new Stars have been added to your Starbucks Rewards Account, you will be able to maintain your Gold Level status for the next 12 months.

How to maintain your Gold Level membership:

On each Account Anniversary of your Starbucks Rewards Account, the system will check the number of Stars in your Account, and if the number of Stars is greater than or equal to 25, the Account will continue to retain the Gold Level for 1 year. See the following examples:

On March 10, 2014, Xiao Zhao successfully registered as a member;

On July 19, 2014, Xiao Zhao successfully accumulated 25 stars and was upgraded to a Gold Star member;

On March 10, 2015, the system checked that the number of stars in Xiao Zhao's account was greater than 25, and Xiao Zhao could continue to retain the Gold Star membership level for 1 year, and all stars in Xiao Zhao's account were cleared.

From March 10, 2015 to March 9, 2016, Xiao Zhao is still a Gold Level member and can continue to enjoy all Gold Level gifts;

On March 10, 2016, the system checked the number of stars in Xiao Zhao's account. If the number of stars is greater than or equal to 25, Xiao Zhao can continue to retain the Gold Star membership level for 1 year. If the number of stars is less than 25, Xiao Zhao's membership level will be downgraded to Silver.

It is not calculated according to the calendar year, for example, if you get a card on June 1, 14, all your stars will be emptied on May 31, 15. However, as long as you accumulate 25 stars in the previous year, you will automatically get a Gold membership for the next year.

Valid for at least 12 months.

The Starbucks Rewards Terms stipulate that once you become a Gold Level Member, your Gold Level status will continue until the first Account Anniversary after at least 12 months from the date you become a Gold Level Member. The Account Anniversary Date is hereinafter referred to as the "Account Anniversary Review Date".

It's okay to don't do anything after you receive your gold card.

If you don't accumulate 25 stars in the following year, you will become a white card, and there will be no related discounts (such as buy 10 get 1 free).

From the time you register your MSR Card at Starbucks** (referring to the first registration, and then linking a new card is not counted), within one year, you can spend 25 Stars (that is, RMB 1,250), and then you will be upgraded to a Gold Card.
