I've made a USB flash drive boot disk for a computer store, and in fact I have a lot of them, plug the USB boot disk into the computer first.
Then open the virtual machine software, the order cannot be reversed, otherwise the virtual machine will not recognize the U disk. Open the virtual machine for which you want to set up USB flash drive.
Click "Add" to add a device, we want to add a hard disk, and add the USB flash drive plugged into the computer as a hard disk to the virtual machine. Sorry, I'm using the English version.
We choose"hard disk"Add a hard disk, point"next"Next.
Select "Use a Physicla Disk" to allow you to add a physical disk to the virtual machine, which is a USB flash drive.
When you select the "device" device, at least two disks will be listed, and the computer's hard disk will also be included, but the capacity is not indicated, sometimes it is difficult to identify which is which, but it is generally the last one, note that the wrong choice will make an error when you turn on the virtual machine. Then click "Use Entire Disk" to use the entire disk, and then click "Next" to the next step.
Dot"finish"You're done adding the hard drive.
Let's go to the virtual machine settings and check if the added hard disk is a USB flash drive. That's right, it's my USB stick.
In BIOS, what we need to set up is not the USB flash drive boot, but the boot of the newly added hard disk.
The startup was successful. Who said that the virtual machine can't be set up to boot on a USB stick!
Special reminder: When setting the USB flash drive to boot from the virtual machine, make sure that the USB flash drive is connected to the host, not the virtual machine. Otherwise, even if the settings are correct, it will not be able to boot normally from the USB flash drive. In general, this situation is rare, but it has to be guarded against.

Put the virtual system in full screen, that is, press the "Ctrl+Alt+Enter" key combination once to make the virtual machine full screen.
Make the mouse completely a virtual machine, that is, the state of not being able to see the mouse.
Now insert your USB flash drive. Use the shortcut key to reboot your virtual machine once. Press "Ctrl+Alt+Insert" to restart.
In the following interface, quickly press "F2" or ESC once.
If it doesn't work, repeat it a few more times.
You can choose to start the USB flash drive first.
If the above methods are unsuccessful, you can choose the following methods.
Start by plugging in your u, then re-run your VM and click on VM Settings.
Add a hard drive in the settings, select your USB flash drive, and the last one may be your USB flash drive. Click Next to complete the addition.
On the top of your virtual machine system information, there will be an extra line as shown in the following figure: "Use the deviceph".
Now boot up your virtual system.
Enter the BIOS of the VM: Press F2 to enter the BIOS of the VM
Click on "Hard Drive".

VMwareWorkstation virtual machine can install a variety of operating systems, many users want to use a USB flash drive to install the system in VMware VM, so how to set VMware to boot from a USB flash drive? Next, I will teach you how to enter the VMware virtual machine into the USB flash drive PE system.
How to enter the PE system from the computer.
1. Preparations:
1. VMwareWorkstation virtual machine: VMware12 installation and activation method.
2. U disk startup disk: fat claw installation assistant.
3. How to connect the VMware virtual machine to the USB flash drive.
2. Precautions
1. The correct sequence of cleaning is to insert the U disk boot disk first, and then open the virtual machine, otherwise the virtual machine will not be able to detect the U disk;
2. If the virtual machine has been turned on, it needs to be turned off, inserted into the USB flash drive and turned it on again.
3. How to set up:
1. Insert the USB flash drive boot disk, open VMware, select the virtual machine you want to set, and click "Virtual Machine Settings";
2. Click "Add", select "Hard Disk", next step;
3. Keep the default option for disk type, next step;
4. Select the last option "Use Physical Disk";
5. Click the "Device" drop-down box, select the last one, generally physicaldrive1, click "Use the entire disk", 0 is the virtual machine hard disk, 1 is the U disk boot disk;
6. Specify the disk file of the group brother to keep the default, click directly to finish;
7. Return to the list on the left side of the main interface, right-click VM - Power - Enter the firmware when you turn on the power, that is, enter the BIOS settings;
8. Switch to the boot interface, harddrive, use "shift and +" to move harddrive (0:1) or idehard (ps) (usually the last item) to the first position, and then move the harddrive to the first position;
9. Press F10 to save, modify, re-answer or start the virtual machine, and enter the U disk boot disk interface;
10. If you don't use the U disk, you can enter the BIOS and modify the boot startup items.
This is the way to set up VMware virtual machine to start from the USB flash drive, and you can enter the USB disk PE system interface according to the above steps.

Method:1Power on the virtual machine, go to the BIOS, set the boot option, and see a vmware ...... under [Hard Driver].(0:1)] (This is the USB flash drive you just added).
2.Add VMware ......(0:1)] Set to the first boot order, save and exit the BIOS
3.After restarting, it was found that the system had been booted from the USB flash drive successfully.
-
When the virtual machine is started from the USB flash drive, the virtual machine first removes all the hard disks, and then adds the hard disks"Use a physical hard drive"If the virtual machine is installed correctly and the USB flash drive boot is made correctly, the boot from the USB flash drive will be successful.
-
The virtual machine menu of the main interface --- power --- boot to BIOS settings.
-
I did it a long time ago.,I don't remember exactly how to do it.,Later, it seems that after reinstalling the virtual machine, there is one more setting U disk to start.。
-
As soon as the virtual machine is turned on ESC, a list of startup items will appear, and the time is very short, try a few more times.

I have two ways to get you to boot from a USB drive:
1. When you open the virtual machine, when you see the startup interface, there will be a prompt to press F2 to enter the settings. The system will automatically enter the settings interface (the same as the real physical machine) - select Boot--- jump the harddrive to the first item, then --- then adjust the VM Virtual SCSI Harddrive (0:1) to the first item--- F10 to exit and save, and then check the USB drive to the computer.
This will allow you to boot from a USB drive.
2. Select the virtual machine --- power --- boot BIOS settings You can also enter the BIOS, and set the USB disk as a boot item in the BIOS (refer to the USB disk boot settings of the first method).
In fact, there is no need to set it, after installing the system, VMware will adopt it by default"Bridging"As long as the real host can access the Internet, then the virtual machine can also access the Internet. >>>More

This software is a very good software that can be used to virtualize multiple machines at the same time, especially for learning, research and experimentation, if your machine hardware is good enough, you can virtualize a complete network of multiple servers and clients. >>>More
