Relief valve. There are many kinds of situations that do not sit back after jumping, most of them are caused by the unclean medium in the equipment where the safety valve is located, the medium is discharged from the outlet through the sealing surface when the safety valve is discharged, and when the pressure is reduced to the setting pressure of the safety valve.
When the upper sealing surface sits back, the unclean medium remains on the sealing surface, resulting in poor sealing, which is manifested as the steam medium discharging live water and the medium seeping outward.
Safety valve calibration.
1) The safety valve should be tested for pressure resistance and air tightness before installation.
to test the strength and sealing performance of the safety valve. Correction and adjustment can only be made after passing the test.
2) On the gas test bench, the opening pressure of the safety valve is corrected by adjusting the load applied to the disc. The lever type safety valve regulates the weight position, and the spring type safety valve adjusts the amount of spring compression. The opening pressure of the safety valve shall comply with the safety technical supervision regulations of boilers and pressure vessels.
of the relevant provisions.
3) On the vessel, adjust the discharge pressure and return pressure of the safety valve by adjusting the gap between the adjusting ring and the valve disc of the safety valve. If the safety valve only leaks under the opening pressure and does not jump, or although it jumps but there is a violent vibration and "beep" sound after the pressure drops, the gap is too large and should be adjusted smaller. If the return pressure is too low, the clearance of the adjustment ring is too small and should be appropriately increased.
The discharge pressure of the steam safety valve should be less than or equal to the times of the opening pressure, and the opening and closing pressure difference should not be greater than 10% of the opening pressure. The discharge pressure of the safety valve for air or other gases shall be less than or equal to the times of the opening pressure, and the opening and closing pressure difference shall not be greater than 15% of the opening pressure.
4) When the safety valve is calibrated and the pressure is adjusted, the technical personnel in charge of the safety of the boiler and pressure vessel of the user unit must be present to adjust and calibrate the pressure gauge for the device.
5) During the calibration process, the calibration personnel should make records in time. The safety valve that has passed the calibration should be sealed after the installation of the relevant accessory device to prevent the adjusted state from being changed casually.

Check the spring and see that there is no foreign object on the sealing surface of the spool.

Summary: This can only be reset automatically after the operation is completed.
After the safety valve jumps, the pressure control valve should be opened immediately to reduce the pressure to the normal control range, and then check whether the safety valve can be automatically reset, if it cannot be reset, close the safety valve hand valve, remove the safety valve and repair it, re-adjust the pressure and then install it.
Check whether the seat is returned to the seat in good condition after the jump, that is to say, the safety valve is still well sealed as the original after the jump, and there is no need to deal with it if there is no leakage and other bad conditions. If it leaks, it must be repaired and calibrated again by the safety valve calibration department. If your safety valve jumps frequently, it means that the setting pressure of your safety valve may not be correct, and it must be sent to the calibration department for re-calibration.
Hope mine is helpful to you.
Can the safety valve automatically reset when opened?
Hello, glad to answer for you. This can only be reset automatically after the operation is completed. I just opened the safety valve to check, and now it keeps leaking.
That means the safety valve may be damaged and needs to be replaced.

For safety valves, there are the following important performance indicators.
Not to mention that the safety valve jumps on time, in fact, there are two very important, one is called more than the pressure force and the other is called the opening and closing pressure difference.
Exceeding the pressure is the pressure at which the safety valve reaches full opening.
The opening and closing pressure difference is the pressure when the safety valve reaches full closure, so the full closure of the safety valve needs to be used as an important performance index, so the safety valve must be used after resetting.
Note: The general safety valve jumping is an accident, and theoretically after the jump, it should be stopped for inspection.
If there is a leak after the safety valve is reset, there are impurities in the medium, so the safety valve needs to be removed for maintenance.
The release valve is a safety early warning device for pipeline transportation of flammable and explosive gases, and when the pressure of the control point exceeds the set value (bubble burst pressure) for some temporary reason, it is a valve that discharges a certain amount of gas. >>>More
