Therefore, if the six patriarchs of Bodhidharma are truly insightful, then we can only say that the lowest ten dwelling positions may also be the ten element positions, or the ten dedication positions, or even above the first earth, but it can never be the ultimate Buddha position.
In the same way, the same is true of the other patriarchs, because the Buddha only gave the next Buddha to be Maitreya Buddha, and it is absolutely impossible for anyone to become a Buddha during this period. Therefore, when a bodhisattva before the Maitreya Buddha came to the next life, if he has a clear mind, then we can only say that he may be a bodhisattva of the ten dwelling positions, or the ten dedications or even above the first ground.
In addition, the six ancestors said that the Buddha is not the ultimate Buddha, but only a similar Buddha, or a separate Buddha, the reason why the six ancestors said this is also the background at the time, when Hinayana Buddhism prevailed, and many people misunderstood the true meaning of Hinayana Buddhism, so of course the six ancestors must support the righteous and righteous Dharma of the sect, so that it is convenient to say that the Buddha can become a Buddha, and this Buddha must not be regarded as the ultimate Buddha, so as not to increase slowly. Seeing nature to become a Buddha is only when the last bodhisattva manifests himself as a Buddha in the world, and the rest are not.

And because the purpose of Zen Buddhism is to make scholars have an epiphany and enter the Mahayana gate (which is one of the necessary passes for all methods), it emphasizes that "enlightenment is a Buddha".
Theoretically speaking, the Buddha land is true, pure and complete, and it is the real "enlightenment".
