1 Qualitatively, my view is the intrinsic characteristic of one thing that distinguishes it from another. I think the essence of human beings should be analyzed from two aspects, one is the difference between humans and other animals, and the other is the difference between people.

Human beings have dual attributes, namely natural attributes and social attributes.

First of all, human beings are natural beings and have various basic needs like other animals. Secondly, man is a social person, a person in a certain social relationship, man makes and uses tools in labor, and the special function of the human brain makes man different from ordinary animals. From this point of view, human beings are higher than ordinary animals, and the fundamental difference between humans and animals lies in the sociality of human beings, so it can be said that the essential attributes of human beings lie in the social attributes of human beings.

Any living thing has the ability to maintain its own stability (that is, the ability to make itself better by changing the outside world) - it is conducive to its own survival and the growth of its population. Therefore, the more conducive to the survival of a particular organism and the growth of its population, the stronger its ability to maintain its own stability.

So, in general, the more intelligent a creature is, the more stable it is to maintain itself.

Human beings, on the other hand, are the organisms with the strongest ability to maintain their own stability in the entire evolution process of living beings (this is the definition of human beings).

There is no doubt that on any planet where life exists, as long as the evolution of life can proceed normally, then over time, human beings will be born. The emergence of human beings also marks the evolution of living beings, entering a stage of prosperity, and from prosperity to decline.
