    The principle of turbocharging.

Turbocharging is to install a turbine in the exhaust manifold and an impeller in the intake manifold. Both wheels are the same on the same axle.

The effect of increasing power and torque. The feeling of pushing back with instant acceleration is very obvious.

Fuel consumption will not increase, displacement will increase a little more, and it will be more dynamic.

The exhaust turbine is used to drive the intake turbine to rotate, so that the air intake can be increased, and the power can be increased, which can increase the original power by 40%, and the exhaust gas that is not completely burned can be led to the cylinder again for re-combustion to reduce emissions. Don't worry about the fuel cost than before, because as long as the power rises, the fuel consumption is also proportional.

Increased power, more fuel than before.

Not necessarily fuel-efficient. Comparison with displacement: the absolute fuel economy of the engine.

The turbocharged Tongkai slag increases the power by increasing the inlet of air and burning more fuel, so it is definitely more fuel-intensive than naturally aspirated. Comparison of the same power: the corresponding self-priming of the same power of an engine should be or.

However, the former still consumes fuel at low speed or in congested road sections, which is more fuel-efficient than the latter's natural aspiration with large displacement. The precautions for the use of turbocharging are as follows:,1. Poor fuel quality:

Poor fuel quality is one of the reasons why many plateau areas are reluctant to use turbocharged models, not that turbocharged models do not have enough adaptability on the plateau, but largely because of poor oil quality. When an engine uses subpar quality fuel, a portion of the fuel is not fully burned and is converted into particles that pass through the exhaust system and attach to the turbine blades. Over time, it will cause certain damage to the turbine blades.

After the damage of the wave turbine blades, the specific performance is that the power decreases, and the turbine intervention will produce a large vibration, and the abruptness of the intervention is greatly increased. 2. Engine carbon deposition cleaning: Many drivers do not have the habit of cleaning up carbon deposition in time, which leads to the accumulation of carbon deposition that can form visible solids in the engine combustion chamber.

When consumers clean up the carbon deposits, these carbon deposits will be discharged out of the engine in the form of particles with the exhaust gases and attach to the turbine blades, resulting in an increase in the turbine load, which will slowly damage the bearings and blades in this part.

If there is damage to the turbocharger, then it will increase the fuel consumption of the car.

Oil leaks from the turbocharger, resulting in increased oil consumption.

Causes: Due to oil leakage at the supercharger pressure end, the oil enters the combustion chamber through the engine intake pipe and is burned off, which is caused by the following possibilities:

    1) The oil return pipe of the supercharger is not smooth, and the oil accumulates too much in the middle support of the rotor assembly, and flows into the compressor impeller along the rotor shaft.

    2) After the sealing ring or oil slinger ring near one end of the compressor impeller is damaged, the oil enters the impeller chamber, and then enters the combustion chamber through the intake pipe with the pressurized air in the chamber.

    3) In the process of air being sucked in by the supercharger, the air flow encounters greater resistance (such as the air filter element is blocked, the air intake hose is sucked and deformed or flattened, etc.), and the pressure at the air inlet of the compressor is low, resulting in oil leakage into the compressor and burning out with the compressed air.

    Solution: 1) First of all, check whether the external oil pipes of the engine lubrication system (including the inlet and return pipes of the supercharger) are leaking;

    2) Check whether the exhaust gas outlet of the supercharger is organic oil. If there is organic oil, it can be judged that the sealing ring at one end of the turbine is damaged, and this sealing ring should be replaced.

    3) Open the air outlet of the compressor or the straight pipe (rubber hose) of the engine intake, and check whether the oil is adhered to the pipe port and pipe wall. If so, check that the supercharger return pipe is unblocked. If it is not smooth, it is caused by too much oil at the intermediate support, and the return pipe should be dredged and reinstalled.

If it is unblocked, it is caused by damage to the sealing ring or oil throwing ring at one end of the impeller, and the supercharger should be dismantled for repair.

    4) Check whether there is any oil in the wall of the intake straight hose and whether it is flattened, so that the air flow is blocked or the air filter element is blocked. If there is organic oil in the nozzle and pipe wall, the air cleaner should be cleaned or replaced.

The main function of turbocharging is to increase the air intake of the engine, thereby increasing the power and torque of the engine and making the car more powerful. When an engine is equipped with a turbocharger, its maximum power can be increased by 40% or more compared to without a turbocharger. This means that the same engine can be boosted to put out more power.

Take our most common turbocharged engine, for example, after supercharging, the power can reach the level of the engine, but the fuel consumption is not much higher than the engine, on another level is to improve fuel economy and reduce exhaust emissions.

However, after being supercharged, the pressure and temperature of the engine are greatly increased when working, so the engine life will be shorter than that of the engine without supercharging with the same displacement, and the mechanical properties and lubrication properties will be affected, which also limits the application of turbocharging technology in the engine to a certain extent.

The supercharger only increases the air intake, and has nothing to do with fuel consumption.

Theoretically not related to fuel consumption. But it's actually a little related, and it should cost 1% more than 100 kilometers.

Fuel consumption will not increase, power will increase a lot.

It will increase the fuel consumption of an additional fuel injector by installing an additional fuel injector to add turbocharging, and it is estimated that it will increase by 1 to 2 oils.

Power is increased by between 15 and 30 percent to be more of the regulating pressure of your turbines and cylinders.

The turbine drives the compressor to increase the air intake, change the combustion quality of the engine, and increase the output power.
