Here's how to set up your router:
1. Line connection:
a.Connect the network cable from the cat to the WAN port of the router (or the blue interface of the router), and then take a network cable to connect the LAN port of the router (or the blue interface of the router) to the computer.
b.Connect the network cable that can be connected to the computer to the WAN port of the router (or the blue interface of the router), and then take a network cable to connect the LAN port of the router (or the blue interface of the router) to the computer.
2. Log in to the router interface.
In the browser, type: Enter, enter in the pop-up page: admin and click "OK".
3. Set up the router to surf the Internet.
Before setting up the Internet access, choose the correct Internet access method: Generally, there are three types as follows:
ADSL dial-up: Usually to access the Internet (when not connected to the router) need to click on the broadband connection, dial-up is successful before you can access the Internet, you should choose the Internet mode, Internet access and Internet password correctly enter the broadband and password, you can.
Automatically obtain an IP address: If you usually surf the Internet (when you are not connected to the router), you only need to set the local connection of the computer to automatically obtain the IP address to access the Internet, you should choose this Internet access method.
Static IP: If you need to fill in a fixed IP address in the local connection to access the Internet (when you are not connected to the router), you should choose the Internet access method, log in to the interface of the router, click "Advanced Settings" - "WAN Port Settings" to select the static IP mode "Static IP Mode", and enter your fixed IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS domain name server and other parameters correctly.
4. After setting, click "Advanced Settings" - "System Status" to check whether the connection status of the WAN port shows that it is connected, and whether the corresponding connection mode is displayed correctly.
The corresponding connection mode for ADSL dial-up is: PPPoE
The connection mode corresponding to the static IP address is the static IP address
**The following is how to set it up

When the Internet is developing rapidly, wireless routers have also taken the opportunity to enter thousands of households, who does not have a smart phone or computer at home, whether it is a mobile phone or a computer needs to access the Internet, mobile phones also need wireless Internet access, wireless routers can allow computers and smartphones to share the Internet, so most of the home users will install wireless routing, but sometimes, users will find that the router can not be connected, why can it not be connected? Let's analyze and solve it below.
There are many reasons why the router cannot be connected, and we will introduce a few of the more common ones.
1. Broadband network line problems.
Whether you use telecom broadband or Unicom broadband, or mobile broadband, there may also be line problems, if the user's home broadband connection line is aging, or there is a problem, it will cause the router to connect, this situation can be solved by contacting the network operator.
2. Router setting problems.
If the user's router is set incorrectly, it will also cause the network to be unconnected, in general, in this case, you can restore the router to the default settings, that is, the factory setting state, and then set the router again, so that it is OK.
3. There is an error in the routing connection device line.
The router needs to be connected to the computer, and there is a "cat" to connect to the Internet normally, if the user's line is connected incorrectly, or there is a problem with the line, it will cause the router to be unable to connect to the network.
-
Possible reasons why your wireless router won't connect to the network:
Loose mouth wire. Solution: Reconnect the WAN port network cable of the wireless router.
2.Dialing exception.
Solution: Check whether the password of the dial-up account is correct, and modify it if it is incorrect. If correct, consult the network provider to remotely monitor whether the line is working and whether the broadband account is in arrears or expired.
Extension: How to configure a wireless router:
1.Connect the wireless router to a higher-level network device (e.g., modem, first-level router).
Connect the WAN port of the router with the LAN port of the higher-level network device with a network cable, and the connection is successful when the WAN port light flashes on the router.
2.Connect your computer wirelessly to your router.
The computer searches for the router's wifi name (the default wifi name is located on the nameplate on the back of the router) and connects to the wifi network. The first time you use the router, you generally don't need to enter the wifi password.
3.Go to the wireless gateway configuration page.
Open a browser, enter the IP address of the router gateway (usually, the default value is located on the nameplate on the back of the router) to enter the gateway configuration page. (This interface will pop up automatically for new routes).
4.Set up a wireless router to access the Internet.
Go to the WAN port settings in Advanced settings. If the broadband service requires dial-up, select PPPoE dial-up, otherwise you can choose DHCP to get automatically. To dial up PPPoE, enter the broadband account password, and select Automatic connection as the connection mode.
If DHCP is automatically obtained, you do not need to enter this field.
5.Set the wifi name and wifi password.
Go to Wireless Security in the Wireless Settings and select WPA2-PSK mode for Security Mode. Select AES for WPA encryption rule. Set up a wireless network key.
6.After the setting is completed, the router will automatically restart, please enter the new wifi password to connect, and you can access the network.

The steps to connect and set up the router must be correct.
Here are the steps to set up a single router for home users.
1. The broadband network cable or the network cable out of the cat is connected to the WAN port of the router, and the LAN port is connected to the computer.
2. After starting the device, open the browser and enter it in the address bar to enter the wireless router settings interface. (If you can't get in, please look at the nameplate at the bottom of the router or the router instruction manual, the default settings of different models of routers are different.) )
3. An account and password to log in to the router appear in the settings interface, enter the default account and password admin, or refer to the manual;
4. After successful login, select the interface of the setup wizard, which will automatically pop up by default;
5. After selecting the setup wizard, a window will pop up to explain that you can set the basic parameters of the router through the wizard, and click Next directly;
6. Set up step by step according to the setup wizard, select the Internet mode, usually ADSL users choose the first PPPoE, if you use other network service providers, select the following two according to the actual situation, if you don't know how to choose, directly select the first item to automatically select, convenient for novice operations, click next after selection;
7. Enter the account and password applied for from the network service provider, and go directly to the next step after the input is completed;
8. Set the wifi password, try to make the alphanumeric combination more complicated, and it is not easy to be rubbed off the network.
9. After entering correctly, it will prompt whether to restart the router, select Yes to confirm the restart of the router, and you can access the Internet normally after restarting the router.
-
First, manually set the IP of the computer to the same network segment as the router, if the route IP is, you can set the computer to log in to any of them.

Router Setup Tutorial
Check out my approach! The setting principle is the same, and the interface may be different.
Home Network Environment Cabling]:
1. There is a cat (modem): cat (modem) - router WAN port; The LAN port of the router --- a computer.
2. No modem: network cable --- router WAN port; The LAN port of the router --- a computer.
Computer enters the router]:
1. The computer IP and DNS settings are automatically obtained.
2. Open the browser, enter the general router address in the address bar is this or check the login information on the back of the router) Enter the route - enter the user name and password, (the default is generally admin).
Set Router Dialing]:
1. In the [Setup Wizard], select [PPPoE Dialing] (some are ADSL dialing), enter the username and password (provided by the network service provider) according to the prompts, and save.
2. In [Network Parameters] --WAN Settings], select [Normal Mode], and select [PPPoe Dialing] in the three options of [Connection]. The next step is to select [Auto Connect], Save, and Exit.

Notebook? Are you sure the receiver of the laptop is on?

The fault lies in the wireless part of the LAN, including the wireless module of the router and the wireless module of the Internet access equipment.
Take a commonly used notebook as an example to illustrate the cause of the failure and how to deal with it
1. Find a mobile phone to connect to wifi first, see if the mobile phone Internet is normal, if the mobile phone Internet is normal, it means that the router wireless signal is normal, the fault is in the notebook, uninstall the notebook wireless network card and then reinstall it, it can be solved.
2. If the mobile phone is also limited to obtain the address like the notebook and cannot be connected, it means that there is a problem with the wireless part of the router.
3. There is also a possibility that the signal between the router and the laptop is blocked, resulting in a weak signal, so that the wireless channel cannot be established, and the laptop can be moved to the vicinity of the wireless router, which can solve the problem of unable to connect caused by signal shielding.
-
Problems with network settings. It is recommended to change the local connection IP address to automatically obtain.
-
Usually this situation is solved when I power off the router and reboot it, but if it can't be solved, I will restore it to factory settings and then set it up again.
-
The wiring is normal, so there shouldn't be much of a problem, right? Is wireless not enabled or is the password wrong? What devices are connected to the wireless use? Check whether the wireless network card driver is normal? Does the mobile phone need to add IP or something to check the advanced settings?
Changed the IP address of the LAN port of your wireless router to 251-253. Then turn off the DHCP of the wireless router. Directly connect the network cable pulled from the line to the LAN port to access the Internet View the original post
