Founded in 1912, China Civil Engineering Society, formerly known as the Chinese Society of Engineers (Civil Engineering Professional Committee) founded by Zhan Tianyou, is a national academic mass organization of cross-industry and cross-departmental national civil engineering science and technology workers established in accordance with the law, and is a part of the China Association for Science and Technology, affiliated with the Ministry of Construction.
