When you practice meditation, your body and mind slowly change from coarse to fine, from dyed to pure, and the eight-touch realm will be generated, which is a process of physical and mental transformation. Eight touches are:

    1. Movement: Earth, water, fire, and wind change and impact each other, and the body produces a dynamic phase.

    2. Itching: When the air penetrates into the fine nerves, the body produces itching.

    3. Cold: When consciousness enters the water, the body feels cold.

    4. Heat: When consciousness enters the fire, the body will have a fever, fever, and even sweat profusely.

    5. Light: When the consciousness is windy, I feel that my body is as light as a cloud, and I even have the feeling of flying.

    6. Heavy: The consciousness is large, and I feel that my body is as heavy as a mountain and I can't move.

    7. Astringency: It feels as rough as veneer.

    8. Slippery: The body seems to be coated with a layer of oil, smooth as milk.

When the eight-touch phenomenon is present, it can be treated in the following ways:

    1. Ignore it, concentrate on it, and practice meditation.

    2. Reminder and contemplation All appearances are false, and the realm of eight touches is a temporary change in body and mind, and it is false and unreal.

    3. Turn your thoughts to the good Dharma, such as chanting sutras, chanting Buddha, holding mantras, ......Wait.

Fourth, keep the precepts pure, sincerely repent, and practice all kinds of good dharma and merits.

    5. Make a great vow and practice the bodhisattva path diligently with compassion and wisdom.

The Eight Touches is the process of meditation and meditation, and if there is no Eight Touches realm, it means that the practice has not yet been exhausted, but if you pursue or cling to the Eight Touches Realm, you will fall into the wrong direction, and it will become an obstacle to your practice, and you will not be able to truly go deep into meditation. Therefore, for all realms, do not cling to or take, and the realm of eight touches is fleeting, and it will be able to reach a higher level.

It's just a blank slate!! Nothing!! There are no more thoughts!

I can't even feel it in my body! There's nothing around anymore!! Only consciousness is in!!

What is Silence and Patience!! It's really all gone!! Quiescence!!

It's all out!! Selfless, impossible, empty!

Bodhi has no tree, and the mirror is not a platform.

Buddha nature is always pure, where there is dust!

The body is a Bodhi tree, and the heart is a mirror platform.

The mirror is pure, where is the dust!

When you reach the realm of Spiegel, your body and mind are already pure, and you can already make decisions and not fall into the evil way.

When you reach the state where there is nothing in the first place, then you can say that you have achieved it, and you can teach others to be liberated.

Zazen, as the name suggests, is to sit quietly and do nothing, just like a mirror passively reflecting any thought that comes to you, neither deliberately paying attention to the thought, nor deliberately remembering that you are just a mirror.

If you deliberately pay attention to the mind, then this is also an action; Or remember that you are an empty mirror, which is also an act. If this happens, then it's no longer zazen, it's about practicing certain methods.

Practicing certain methods means that there is a self within you, that self wants to do something, that is, there is not absolute emptiness within you, and there is something like the ego that tries to achieve something through practice.

If there is absolute emptiness in you, then no one will say that I have to practice this, practice that to achieve something, because no one else can do anything, and to do something has to be done by one person, but that person is the problem.

It's like a person standing in a room and he says the room is empty, he says I've cleaned all the furniture and the room has become empty, but if the person who is talking is still there, then he is not absolutely empty, in fact that person is the problem.

Actually, if that person is still there, then sooner or later all the furniture will be put in, and that person will be the more than nirvana, which is the seed of samsara, and unless you take that person out and burn that seed as well, you will still enter samsara, because the roots have not been cut off.
