For example, in the exploration stage, you can do more experiments, explore, and find out your professional orientation, career anchor, career interests, etc., in your work, and gradually find the most suitable career for yourself. People over the age of 40 should not try too much, but should carefully analyze their career anchor and career orientation, and choose a career in which they have advantages to make long-term plans.
For example, in China, as a professional footballer, it is time to retire at the age of 30; And as a professor, 30 years old is almost the youngest.
John Holland's research found that different people have different personality traits, and different personality traits are suitable for different occupations, which John Holland divided into six occupational orientations (types):
1. Practical orientation, 2. Research orientation, 3. Social orientation, 4. Conventional orientation, 5. Enterprise orientation, 6. Artistic orientation.
Each occupational orientation is suitable for a specific number of occupations. Through a series of tests, a person's occupational orientation can be determined. If a professional has determined his or her career orientation, he or she can choose from a number of corresponding occupations.
