According to the records in the Buddhist scriptures, the seven-branch sitting method has long been lost, and later there were 500 arhats, who practiced for many years, but they were never able to enter the meditation. Although they knew that this sitting posture had been practiced since time immemorial, they never understood the essentials. Once, in the depths of the snow-capped mountains, they found a group of monkeys and used this method to sit in meditation, and they learned the same, and from this they attained arhat fruit.
This mythical legend cannot be verified. In short, it is in accordance with the laws of biological nature, there is no doubt about it. And this posture, in general, is very similar to the static posture of the fetus in the mother's womb, peaceful and tranquil.

The so-called "seven limbs" refer to the seven points of meditation posture. Among them, the first point can introduce the pervasive qi, the second point can introduce the ascending qi, the first point can introduce the waiting qi, and the seventh point can introduce the ascending qi, and the above four qi can flow into the life-holding qi, and when the five qi are one, the practitioner can experience enlightenment.
The so-called seven-branch sitting method refers to the seven main points of the limbs:
a) Bipedal Ga (Bipan Foot). If you can't use two discs, use a single disc. Or put the left foot on top of the right foot, which is called wishful sitting. Or put the right foot on top of the left foot, which is called vajra sitting. When you start to sit and a single disc is impossible; You can also cross your legs.
2) The spine is erect. Make each bone joint of the back like an abacus stacked vertically. However, if the body is weak or sick, you should not be too rigid and upright at the beginning, let alone exert too much force.
3) The left and right hands are knotted under the dantian (under the lower abdomen) and placed flat on the hip bone. Place the back of your right hand flat on top of your left palm with your palms facing upwards and gently press your thumbs together. In Buddhism, this is called "knotting mudra", and this gesture is also called samadhi (which means fixed seal).
4) The left and right shoulders are slightly spread so that they are flat and moderate, and the shoulders should not be heavy.
5) The head is straight, and the back of the head is slightly retracted backwards. The anterior jaw is adducted (not lowered), and the movement of the two large arterial canals on the left and right sides of the neck is slightly compressed by a slight lack of spine.
6) The eyes are slightly open, as if they are closed and open, as if they are half-open and half-closed. The gaze is casually fixed in front of the seat.
Seven or eight feet, or one foot.
One or two feet. (For example, if you usually work with your eyes, it is better to close your eyes at the beginning of meditation.) )
7) Lick the tongue slightly against the palate, as if the baby has not yet grown teeth when it is asleep.
If the meditation posture is not correct, it will block the meridians of the body, the qi and veins will not be smooth, the energy will not come up, the so-called three veins and seven chakras will not be opened, the brain will lack oxygen, and people will be drowsy.
You'll be invincible in the next version, and the revised version of the Seven Blades is particularly good.
