Wudang Taijiquan thirteen styles, containing eight techniques and five kinds of footwork, by the momentum, holding the ball, single push, probe, support, pounce, shoulder, divide, cloud, potential, double push, down, close and other thirteen groups of actions with strong offensive and defensive awareness, without borrowing other martial arts moves, there is the original flavor of Taijiquan techniques, should be created by the masters.
Yang's Taijiquan "Eighty Fifty-Three Potentials" is a combination of eight techniques and five kinds of footwork, including the tail of the bird, the single whip, the white crane and other moves, which is formed on the basis of Yang Luchan's "Jiang Famian Boxing" passed on by Chen Changxing, which draws on the martial arts techniques such as Qijiaquan and Wujitong back wrapping boxing.
Both of these are based on the opponent's yin and yang changes, which is consistent with "Wang Zongyue's Taijiquan Treatise".

The 13 styles of Tai Chi are said to have been created by Zhang Sanfeng. There is no way to verify this. It is now accepted that Taijiquan was created by Chen Wangting, a native of Chenjiagou, Wenxian County, Henan. Personally, I think that Wudang Taiji should originate from the old frame of Zhaobao.
-
It is said that the thirteen styles were created by Zhang Sanfeng, and Wudang also has Tai Chi and gossip.
-
Wudang's moves are softer, and the scribe's is more fierce than him, both in terms of the name of the move and the technique.

Actually, I'm also looking for answers, and I'm too lazy to find them. My purpose is to practice qi, and in my opinion, the former has a strong sense of offense and defense, and the latter is to practice qi. But there is no literary style on the Internet, so I can only choose the former to practice qi. I've been practicing for a while, and the effect is okay.

Taijiquan is a martial arts treasure of the Chinese nation, and it is a technique and action art that controls people without being controlled. The Thirteen Potentials are the martial arts theories left by the predecessors on how to use the human body and limbs to skillfully attack people—they are the technical ways and methods that teach people how to skillfully hit people. The understanding of the meaning of the thirteen potentials is "a hundred flowers blooming", and the benevolent have their own opinions.
In this article, the author talks about some of the connotations and essential meanings of the Thirteen Potentials based on his personal experience and experience in the practice and teaching of Hong-style Taijiquan for many years. Where it is inappropriate, I hope that Fangjia and his peers will put forward valuable opinions. "Thirteen potentials" comes from Wang Zongyue's "Taijiquan Interpretation of Names", due to the conciseness of the ancients' style, in this treatise, it is only directly pointed out that "thirteen potentials:
Pounding, squeezing, pressing, picking, squeezing, elbowing, leaning; Advance, retreat, care, hope, and determination. In addition to explaining this sentence with the traditional direction of Bagua and the philosophy of the attributes of the five elements, he did not give any further specific explanations and expositions (traditional conservatism is also the reason for this). In the application of actual technical operations, the human body and limbs, and how to move the strength, there is no further explanation.
This has left some specific and difficult problems and mysteries for the later generations who practice Taijiquan -- it is difficult to explain the specific implementation of the "original theory". But despite this, just as some experts said, anyway, the Thirteen Potentials are left by the predecessors to teach people how to use their bodies and limbs to control and beat people, and they are definitely not for other purposes! Nowadays, the general discourse on the 13 Stages of Taijiquan in society or in books and periodicals is the result of each person's own experience in teaching or boxing practice, application or self-defense – or mutual exchange and sublimation.
It is not known whether this is consistent with the original work of the Thirteen Potentials in terms of the intent of its specific implementation. But its core original meaning is not wrong, that is, "the thirteen potentials are the techniques of using the human body or limbs to hit people." ”

The Thirteen Potentials are the skeleton of Taijiquan, which is the collective name of the eight techniques (corresponding to the eight elephant positions of the Bagua) and the five footwork (corresponding to the five elements). The eight techniques are to squeeze the shed, press the elbow, and the five kinds of footwork are to move forward and backward, look left and right, and hope for the middle and determination.
It was created by Zhang Sanfeng. There are only thirteen movements, hence the name Tai Chi Thirteen Styles.
The first form is the preparatory potential.
