Interstellar tells the story of an expedition team that uses their newfound discoveries of wormholes to go beyond the limits of human space travel and embark on interstellar travel in the vastness of the universe.

The plot is poor synopsis.

In the near future, with the deterioration of the earth's natural environment, human beings are facing the threat of not being able to survive. It was then that scientists discovered a wormhole near Saturn in the solar system, which could push the limits of human capabilities and look for opportunities to extend life further into space.

An expedition team travels through a wormhole to the outer solar system. Their goal is to find a planet suitable for human migration. Regarding endurance, this is a spacecraft called "endurance", and the expedition members face challenges that have never been seen before in human minds.

However, while passing through the wormhole, they discovered that one hour on the ship was equivalent to seven years on Earth, and even if the expedition team's mission was completed, their redemption would be too late for those who were still alive on Earth. Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) must choose between reuniting with his children and saving humanity's future.

Interstellar is an original sci-fi adventure film directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Kane, based on the well-known theoretical physicist Kip Thorne's black hole theory after reasonable evolution, adding characters and related plots. The film is co-produced by Paramount, Warner and Legendary Pictures, with Paramount for North American distribution and Warner for overseas distribution, and is scheduled to be released in North America on November 7, 2014.
