How to apply for the Hukou Permit and how to handle the Hukou Permit

If a citizen moves his or her household registration to another county or city due to reasons such as purchasing a commercial residential house, taking refuge with his immediate family, transferring his job, investing in a business or running a business, or being recruited by an enterprise, he or she shall be approved by the public security bureau of the county or city where he or she is moving to and issue a "Permit for Relocation of Household Registration".

1. Citizens who purchase housing within the municipal jurisdiction are allowed to move in with their own household registration and that of their immediate family members. Required supporting materials: house ownership certificate, "Resident Household Booklet" of the relocated person, certificate of direct relationship, resident ID card.

2. Those who sign labor contracts with enterprises and institutions and pay social pooling funds are allowed to move in. Required supporting materials: labor contract and social pooling fund certificate, resident ID card.

3. Husband and wife are separated, and immediate family members take refuge and are allowed to move in. Required supporting materials: marriage certificate (husband and wife refuge); Proof of parent-child relationship.

4. Work transfer to households: Personnel who have been recruited or transferred in by state organs, enterprises and institutions are allowed to move in and their immediate family members; Personnel who are transferred from other places within state organs, enterprises and institutions under vertical management are allowed to move in themselves and their immediate family members. Required Supporting Documents:

Appointment of provincial and municipal personnel and labor and social security departments; Provincial and municipal organization department appointment orders; Appointment or appointment order of the vertical management unit, proof of immediate family relationship, and household registration book and resident ID card of the accompanying personnel.

5. Investment tax payment into households.

1. Non-local citizens who invest, do business or run enterprises in the city and reach the annual tax amount stipulated by the local government can move in and their immediate family members living with them. Required supporting materials: The applicant needs to hold a business license, tax registration certificate, tax payment certificate, resident ID card, proof of the relationship between children and parents, resident ID card of the person who moved in, and "Resident Household Booklet".

2. Non-local citizens who invest, do business, or run enterprises in the city, and reach the local business years and annual tax amount, can apply for the management personnel and technical backbones hired by the business and production entities to enter the household. Required supporting materials: The taxpayer's industrial and commercial business license, tax registration certificate, tax payment certificate, employment contract, labor contract, resident ID card of the applicant and "Resident Household Booklet" shall be used to declare the household registration.

1. How to apply for the permit for relocation of household registration

You should bring your personal application, household registration certificate, and residence certificate to the public security organ at the place where you move in to obtain the "Household Approval Form". Article 10 When a citizen moves out of the jurisdiction of his or her household registration, he or the head of the household shall report to the household registration authority for registration before moving out, obtain a relocation certificate, and cancel his or her household registration.

Citizens who move from rural areas to cities must apply to the household registration office of their permanent residence for moving out with a certificate of employment from the urban labor department, a certificate of admission to a school, or a certificate of permission to move in from the urban household registration office.
