Articles of Association of the Chinese Society of Automation

Article 9 Membership Procedures:

1) Submit an application for membership through a permanent institution or branch of the Society;

Senior members must be recommended by one or more senior members or fellows. Fellows must be recommended by at least 1 fellows.

2) to be discussed and adopted by the Council or a body authorized by the Council;

3) Individual members will be issued a membership card by the Society, and group members will be issued a group membership certificate by the Society.

Article 5 Members of the Admission Association must meet the following conditions:

a) Acknowledging the constitution of the Society;

2) Have the willingness to join the Society;

3) Have a certain influence in the business field of the Society, and meet one of the following specific conditions:

1. Probationary members: assistant engineers, teaching assistants and other scientific and technological personnel equivalent to the above level who are engaged in the field of automation in scientific research, teaching and production units after graduating from the university, as well as students with excellent grades in the third year or above of graduate and undergraduate studies; (Probationary members only pay a one-time registration fee, not a membership fee; Probationary members do not have the right to vote or to be elected; Probationary members who have reached the academic level of ordinary members can become ordinary members upon their own application and approval. ）

2. Members: Engineer, Automation System Engineer (ASE), Lecturer, Assistant Researcher or above, or scientific and technological personnel in the field of automation equivalent to the above level, as well as relevant management workers who are engaged in the work within the scope of the discipline and enthusiastically advocate the work of the Society.

3 Premium Members: Have more than two years of membership; Obtain a professional title equivalent to associate professor or above, or have a doctorate degree in the field of automation; or scientific and technological personnel who have been engaged in automation and related fields for more than 5 years and have significant achievements.

4. Fellows: Scientific and technological personnel who have made outstanding achievements in the field of automation science, have deep academic attainments, and have made significant contributions to automation scientific research, production, education and management.

5. Group members: enterprises and institutions in the field of automation, such as scientific research, production, teaching, service and management, and relevant academic social groups, which are registered and established in China in accordance with the law, have a certain number of scientific and technological teams, are willing to participate in and support the relevant activities of the society, and pay membership dues in accordance with the regulations.

The Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) is one of the earliest national academic mass organizations established in China. It is a national legal person social group voluntarily formed by individuals and units engaged in scientific research, teaching, development, production and application of automation and related technologies in accordance with the law, registered in accordance with the law, with academic, public welfare and popular science, and is an integral part of the China Association for Science and Technology and an important social force for the development of China's automation science and technology.
