Sima Qian's writing of historical records is rigorous and serious, and the spirit of the record is his greatest feature. Every historical figure or event he wrote about has gone through a lot of investigation and research, and the historical facts have been repeatedly checked. His articles are fair, historical facts are reliable, and he does not empty good words or hide bad things.
Sima Qian's desire to provide the feudal rulers with a historical reference reflects the real history, which is very valuable. Sima Qian's clear feelings of love and hate are also very fully expressed in the historical records. Sima Qian's progressive view of history and his bold style of daring to expose the emperor's mistakes are worthy of recognition.
For the evolution of history, his thinking is also relatively complete. After giving a correct appraisal of history, he fully affirmed the conclusion that history is constantly developing and evolving. Sima Qian recorded history in the form of personal biography and chronicles, with society as the center, and showed a large-scale history of social changes for future generations.
Both in history and literature, Sima Qian has made glorious achievements.

Sima Qian of the Western Han Dynasty suffered palace punishment due to the disaster of Li Ling. At that time, the frustration and pain he suffered were unimaginable today, and he also thought about death at that time. The choice of life and death, he resolutely chose to live, and wrote a 3,000-year-old general history "The History of Jujing" to be written.
At that time, Sima Qian was plagued by humiliation, so that he "suddenly died as if he was dying, and when he came out, he didn't know what to do." But he did not magnify his own pain, but faced the ruggedness of the road of life, and tried to minimize the pain, Tong Qiaoshen regarded it as a part of the life written by God for himself, and finally completed a monument of history. Sima Qian, as a literati in feudal society, suffered injustice, Sima Qian knew how to face setbacks and reduce pain.

-
Introduction: Sima Qian (145 B.C.-90 B.C.), the character is long, a native of Xiayang (now Hanchengnan, Shaanxi), and a native of Longmen (now Hejin, Shanxi). He was a great historian, writer, and thinker of the Western Han Dynasty in China.
Sima Tan's son, Ren Taishi Ling, was punished by the palace for defending Li Ling's defeat, and later served as Zhongshu Ling. He continued to complete the historical books he wrote, and was honored by later generations as Shi Qian, Taishi Gong, and the father of history.
Sima Qian began to study ancient texts at the age of 10. At the age of 20, he roamed south from Chang'an, the capital of Beijing, and traveled all over the Jianghuai River Basin and the Central Plains, inspecting customs and collecting legends wherever he went. The first Langzhong was appointed to the southwest.
In the third year of Yuan Feng (108 BC), he served as Taishi Ling, inherited his father's business, and wrote history. Later, for defending Li Ling, who surrendered to the Xiongnu, he was convicted and imprisoned and sentenced to the palace.
After being released from prison, he served as the Zhongshu Order, continued to write books with anger, and finally completed the writing of the "Historical Records" in 91 BC.
People call his book "Taishi Gongshu". It is the first general history of China in the form of chronicles, and has had a profound influence on the historiography of later generations. Recognized as a model of Chinese history books, the book records the history of more than 3,000 years from the legendary Yellow Emperor period to the first year of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and is the first of the "Twenty-five History", which is praised by Lu Xun as "the swan song of the historian, the rhyme of the separation".
