1. IELTS.

The IELTS test is divided into four subjects: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The speaking test is usually taken separately. The IELTS test score is on a 9-point scale consisting of 4 band scores and an integer average of the 4 band points.

There is no passing score for the IELTS test, and each institution has its own requirements for accepting candidates, and generally, European and American universities generally require non-language master's students to have a minimum basic IELTS score and no less than each component. The requirements of well-known universities will be higher, generally requiring an overall score of not less than 7 points or more, and no less than 7 points in individual items.

2. IELTS test time.

1) Arrive at the test centre between 8:00 and 8:20 and check the classroom at the entrance of the test room according to the registration number on the IELTS test confirmation letter.

2) 8:00 -8:30, enter the test room (no entry after 8:30).

4) 9:00 - 9:30 a.m., for the listening part.

5) 9:30-9:40, IELTS listening time to fill in the answer sheet.

6) From 9:40 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., the listening paper will be collected and the reading paper will be distributed (the listening answer sheet will not be accepted, because the reading paper will be followed by a double-sided page.)

7) 9:45-10:45, Reading (if there is no extra time to fill in the answer sheet, you need to allocate time reasonably).

8) From 10:45 to 10:50, receive the answer sheet and distribute the writing paper.

9) 10:50-11:50, Writing Section.

There will be a difference of about 5 minutes in the test room. The examiner will accurately calculate the time based on the actual time and write the relevant time for each stage on the blackboard. Please make sure to bring your passport**, IELTS acceptance letter and ID card.

10) Speaking: Please arrive at the Speaking test room 15-30 minutes before the time specified in the confirmation letter on Saturday afternoon or Sunday half-day to wait for identity confirmation and test.

3. Fees. The IELTS registration fee is RMB 2020. The registration fee for IELTS for Visas & Immigration and IELTS for Life Skills is 2,070 RMB and 1,550 RMB respectively.
