Yang Guang (April 11, 618, 569), a native of Huayin (now Huayin, Shaanxi), was born in Chang'an, the capital of Sui, and was the second emperor of the Sui Dynasty. Emperor Wen of Sui Yang Jian, the second son of Empress Dugu, was established as the king of Jin in the first year of Kaihuang (581), became the crown prince in November of the twentieth year of Kaihuang (600), and succeeded to the throne in July of the fourth year of Renshou (604). During his reign, he built the Grand Canal (opened the Yongji Canal, Tongji Canal, and repaired the Hangou and Jiangnan Canal), built the eastern capital and moved the capital to Luoyang City, created the imperial examination system, personally conquered Tuyuhun, and conquered Goguryeo three times, because of the abuse of people's power, causing chaos in the world directly led to the demise of the Sui Dynasty, and in 618 Jiangdu was hanged by his subordinates.
