The most commonly used welding method for stainless steel cabinets is manual welding, followed by metal gas arc welding and tungsten inert gas welding. Stainless steel cabinetsAlthough these welding methods are familiar to most people in the stainless steel industry, we think this field is worth going deeper**.
Hand welding: Hand soldering is a very common, easy-to-use method of welding. The length of the arc is adjusted by human hand, and it is determined by the size of the gap between the electrode and the workpiece. At the same time, the electrode is also a filler material for welds.
The welding method of this stainless steel cabinet is simple and can be used to weld almost any material. For outdoor use, it has great adaptability and is no problem even when used underwater. Most welders can weld.
In electrode welding, the length of the arc is determined by the human hand: when you change the gap between the electrode and the workpiece, the stainless steel cabinet also changes the length of the arc. In most cases, direct current is used for welding, and the electrodes act both as an arc carrier and as a filler material for the weld.
The electrode consists of an alloy or unalloyed metal core wire and a welding rod coating. This coating protects the weld from air and stabilizes the arc. It also causes the formation of a slag layer, and stainless steel cabinet protective welds make it form.
The electrode can be either titanium or restrictive, depending on the thickness and composition of the coating. Titanium electrodes are easy to weld, and the weld seam is flat and beautiful. In addition, welding spatter is easy to remove.
If the electrode has been stored for a long time, it must be re-baked. Because moisture from the air can quickly build up in the electrode.

In our country, welding operations need to be licensed, welders are the type of work that belongs to the access category, in the professional qualifications of skilled personnel, only five of the 81 types of work in the access category, welders are one of them, and the actual situation is that most of the industry practitioners are unlicensed operations. With the continuous standardization of technology and the relevant requirements of the industry, more and more people want to take a welding certificate, the advantage of the certificate is still very large, first of all, the salary of the certificate and the non-certificate are very different, often able to reach more than double or higher level. Therefore, the issue of short-term welder training has naturally become a concern for practitioners.
Welding as an industrial "tailor" is a very important means of processing in industrial production, the quality of welding plays a decisive role in the quality of the product, so, what is the future development of welding technology?
Industry outlook. With the development of production, welding is widely used in aerospace, aviation, nuclear industry, shipbuilding, construction and machinery manufacturing and other industrial sectors, in China's economic development, welding technology is an indispensable means of processing. After entering the 21st century, welding is an important part of the manufacturing industry, and the rapid development, so it has brought unprecedented development opportunities to the welding industry.
At present, China consumes 300 million tons of steel every year (about tons of welded structure), and needs about 750,000 welding machines, and the welding industry will continue to grow in the next 8 10 years.

Pay attention to the arc length, the angle of the welding rod, the accurate landing point, and the appropriate currentSecondly, it should be noted that the angle between the welding rod and the welding direction is 70°-80°.
Let's talk about vertical welding first, when positioning welding first, we should carry out anti-deformation positioning, reserve a small gap and a large one, the angle between the welding rod and the iron plate is about 60 degrees, and the current is slightly larger when the root is welded, and the double-sided click method is used, which can withstand the detection of X-rays.
Upside welding: the forward inclination angle of the electrode is 70-80° and walk in a straight line, depress the arc, quickly extinguish the arc after breaking through the groove, re-start the arc when the temperature of the molten pool drops slightly, cycle in turn, pay attention to the accuracy of the arc, and the welding layer should be thin.
Filling: The current should be increased appropriately, the transportation method can be zigzag or crescent-shaped, the groove on both sides of the stop is slightly longer, and the arc is stable, and the weld bead should be thin, and the temperature of the molten pool should not be too high to avoid the metal falling.
Single point is a bit outdated. The click technique must be fast arc tight, the arc is stable, the eyes must be accurate, and the spot welding must be accurate, so as to ensure that the first root welding is the best! The second pass left is the mask.

Straight-line reciprocating method. When welding with this strip method, the end of the electrode swings back and forth along the longitudinal direction of the weld. It is characterized by fast welding speed, narrow weld seam and fast heat dissipation. It is suitable for the first layer of multi-layer welding with large gaps between thin plates and joints.

Resistance welding is a welding method that uses the resistive heat generated by the electric current passing through the workpiece and the welding contact surface to heat the weldment to a plastic or local melting state, and then apply pressure to form a welded joint.
Resistance welding is divided into three forms: spot welding, seam welding, and butt welding.
1) Spot welding: press the weldment between the two cylindrical electrodes, electrically heat, so that the weldment melts at the contact to form a nugget, then de-energizes, and solidifies and crystallizes under pressure to form a dense solder joint.
Spot welding is suitable for welding 4
Thin plates (laps) and steel bars below mm are widely used in the production of automobiles, aircraft, electronics, instruments and daily necessities.
2) Seam welding: Seam welding is similar to spot welding, except that a rotating disc electrode is used instead of a cylindrical electrode. The superimposed workpieces are pressurized and energized between the discs and fed in with the rotation of the discs to form a continuous weld.
Seam welding is suitable for welding thicknesses in 3
Lap joints of thin sheets below mm are mainly used in the production of airtight containers and pipes.
3) Butt welding: According to the different welding processes, butt welding can be divided into resistance butt welding and flash butt welding.
1) Resistance butt welding.
The welding process is to first apply the top forging pressure (10 15
MPA), so that the workpiece joint is in close contact, energized and heated to a plastic state, and then the jacking pressure (30 50
MPA), and at the same time, the power is cut off, so that the weldment contact is welded by plastic deformation under pressure.
Resistance butt welding is easy to operate, and the joint shape is smooth, but the requirements for processing and cleaning the end face of the weldment are high, otherwise it will cause uneven heating of the contact surface, resulting in defects such as oxide inclusion and impermeable welding, which will affect the welding quality. Therefore, resistance butt welding is generally only used for welding diameters less than 20
mm, workpieces with simple cross-section and low force.
2) Flash butt welding.
The welding process is to first energize, and then make the two weldments slightly contact, due to the uneven surface of the weldment, the current density of the contact point is very large, the metal is rapidly melted, gasified, blasted, and sparks are splashed, resulting in flash phenomenon. Continue to move the weldment, produce new contact points, flash phenomenon continues to occur, when the end face of the two weldments is all melted, quickly pressurized, then the power is cut off and continue to pressurize, so that the weldment is welded.
The joint of flash butt welding is not very demanding for pre-welding cleaning of the surface of the joint. It is often used to weld important workpieces with large forces. Flash butt welding can not only weld the same metal, but also weld dissimilar gold such as aluminum steel, aluminum and copper.

The electrode moves longitudinally and horizontally.
4. Welding rod angle.
5.Several key actions and functions when transporting the strip.
Electrode angle. Sideways movement.
The arc stabilization action (the meaning of the arc staying somewhere for a while) is to ensure that the root of the groove is well fused and increase the fusion area.
Straight line action. Electrode feeding action.
The main thing is to control the arc length and add the weld filler metal.
6.Finishing of the weld.
When the arc is interrupted and the welding is finished, arc pits will be generated, and looseness, cracks, porosity, slag inclusion and other phenomena often occur. In order to overcome the crater defects, it is necessary to adopt the correct finishing method, and there are generally three commonly used finishing methods.
1) Circle finishing.
2) Repeated arc breaking and closing method.
3) Reflow finishing method.
