Group of 77.
The Group of 77 is an economic organization, its predecessor was the Group of 75, which was established by developing countries in order to change their passive position in the international economy, improve the deteriorating environment for exchanges, and prevent developing countries from widening their balance of payments deficits. In 1963, when the 18th session of the United Nations General Assembly discussed the convening of the ** and development conferences, the 75 developing countries participating in the meeting issued a "joint declaration", thus forming the Group of 75. In 1964, at the first session of the United Nations ** and the Development Conference held in Geneva, the Group of 75 was increased to 77 countries and regions, and on June 16, 1964, the "Joint Declaration of the Group of 77" was issued, after which, the Group of 75 was called the Group of 77.
The Group of 77 arose as a result of the serious damage caused to developing countries by the unequal economic order in the world, and it reflected the historical trend of developing countries joining forces to defend their own interests. The Group of 77 did not have permanent structures such as headquarters and secretariats, nor did it have a constitution or budget, but because of the common interests of its member States, they were often able to "speak with one voice" when negotiating with developed countries. Each session of the General Assembly and UNCTAD is usually preceded by a ministerial meeting of the Group to study the response and unify the pace.
As a result of its concerted action and concerted action, the Group has played a major role in safeguarding the independence and sovereignty of developing countries, in establishing a new international economic order, and in the struggle in the international economic field.
The Group has held numerous ministerial meetings and has adopted and published a number of programmatic documents, most notably the Algiers Charter, adopted at the Algiers Conference in October 1967; Principles of the Lima Declaration and Programme of Action adopted at the Lima Conference in October-November 1971; the Manila Declaration and Programme of Action adopted at the Manila Conference in February 1976; The Arusha Platform for Collective Self-Reliance and the Platform for Negotiations, adopted at the February 1979 Conference; The Buenos Aires Programme adopted at the Buenos Aires Conference in 1983. In April 1974, the Group promoted the adoption of the Declaration on the Establishment of a New International Economic Order and the Programme of Action for Economic Cooperation among Developing Countries at the sixth special session of the General Assembly, which it had drafted. These documents express the strong desire of developing countries to safeguard national independence and national sovereignty, develop their national economies, oppose economic control and plunder, improve North-South relations, and strengthen South-South cooperation.
With the increasing role of developing countries in world affairs, the membership of the Group of 77 has grown to more than 100 members, but the original name has remained in use.

b Question Analysis: This is the Non-Aligned Movement as can be seen from the information that the material "includes nearly two-thirds of the UN Member States, the vast majority of which are developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America" and the time "60s". So the option was in the 50s; Item c is in the 80s; D item is in the 50s.
Comments: The first meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement was held in Yugoslavia in 1961, marking the establishment of the Non-Aligned Movement and the emergence of the Third World as an independent force on the stage of history. By the time of the Second Non-Aligned Movement, its main tasks had evolved from anti-imperialist and anti-colonial to opposing power politics and hegemonism.
There are knowledge points related to this, such as the trend of multipolarization in the world, which need to be mastered.

(e) Restoration of China's seat in the General Assembly.
The main reason for Japan's economic recession is that they are adjusting, they have given up the relatively backward industries, and now they are mainly focusing on relatively high-end ones, so they have a period of economic recession, in fact, this is just an excess.
The Great Depression was mainly in the United States, and the scope of this economic crisis spread all over the world, because the large-scale purchase of U.S. Treasury bonds triggered the evil idea of dragging China into the water, just like the collapse of Japan back then, the United States because of the pricing power of goods, so the United States did not lose anything in this crisis, the current loss is only temporary, and it will be recovered in the future, and the exchange rate interests of all countries in the world, including China, will be made in vain.
Life is hard. Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, the economy was lacking and survival was difficult, and many people often lived in small, dilapidated low, dark and damp houses. >>>More
