Canceled because of the First World War.
The 6th British Games in 1916 were originally planned to be held in one of the three cities of Berlin, Budapest and Alexandria. However, after 1912, the clouds of war loomed over Europe, and the First World War was imminent. Coubertin, however, believed that if the Olympics were held in Berlin, a major war could be eliminated.
As a result, the Germans' attention turned to the Games. The Hungarian members of the Olympic Committee learned of Coubertin's distress and cancelled the request to hold the Games in Budapest. In this way, Berlin is the ideal location for the Olympic Games.
Despite rampant militarism, Germany accepted Coubertin's kindness, and the 6th Olympic Games decided to shoot Lin Kai. However, the "August gunshots" of 1914 shattered Coubertin's good wishes, but by this time the monogram had already been drawn, and the smell of gunpowder was strong. The monogram picture is a sturdy man, driving a speeding chariot, and there is a wolf smoke behind the car, which is very imposing and dynamic, causing a sense of slaughter.
It's an atmosphere that doesn't stand out from the Olympics.
1940 12 Helsinki, Finland (not held due to World War II), 1944 13 London, United Kingdom (not held due to World War II).
