Qu Yuan, Mingping. According to the "Lisao", "Seti Zhen was in Meng Xi, but Geng Yin was surrendered", it can be presumed that Qu Yuan was born on the 14th day of the first month of the first year of King Chuwei (339 BC). Qu Yuan was the ancestor of the ancient emperor Zhuan clan and belonged to the prince of Chu.
According to the "Historical Records of Qu Yuan Jia Shenglie", Qu Yuan once served as the left disciple of the king of Chu Huai, he was "well-read and strong-minded, clear in the control of chaos, and skilled in rhetoric", "enter the state affairs with Wang Tu, in order to give orders; When you go out, you will meet the guests and deal with the princes", advocating the meritocracy internally, and advocating the joint resistance to Qin externally, which won the trust of King Chu Huai. Shangguan Doctor Jin Shang, out of jealousy, took advantage of Qu Yuan's drafting of the constitutional decree for King Huai of Chu to frame Qu Yuan in front of King Huai, and King Huai was "angry and distracted". After that, the state of Chu repeatedly saw and deceived Qin, Qu Yuan once admonished King Huai of Chu to kill Zhang Yi, and advised King Huai not to go to Qin to meet with the king of Qin, but he was not arrested.
After the death of King Chu Huai in Qin, King Qingxiang ascended the throne, and Qu Yuan was again slandered by Ling Yin Zilan and Shangguan Dafu Jin Shang, and was exiled by King Qingxiang. In the end, he threw himself into Miluo and died.
In addition to serving in Yingdu, Qu Yuan had the experience of falling outside twice. One time was in northern Han, which was when Qu Yuan was alienated by King Huai of Chu, and he left Yingdu. "Nine Chapters: Thoughts" cloud:
There are birds from the south to gather in the north of Han. But he still can't forget the old capital of the monarchy in northern Han: "The vastness of Huaiying Road is far away, and the soul passes away overnight."
The other time was in the south of the Yangtze River, through the Yangtze River, Dongting Lake, Yuanshui, Xiangshui and other places, which was the place where Qu Yuan was exiled by King Qingxiang. During his long period of exile, Qu Yuan accumulated deep feelings of grief and longing, which were expressed through poetry. It can be said that most of his poems are related to a wandering career.
From Sima Qian's records, it can be seen that Qu Yuan came out of clan feelings, stood on the position of defending the Chu state, and advocated uniting the Qi state against the Qin state. This is not only in the interests of the Chu State, but also in the spirit of the traditional culture of the Central Plains. Therefore, Qu Yuan was full of confidence and hope in his ideals and deeds, but he was full of grievances and indignation about the injustice he had suffered, and he had no choice but to pour out his poems.
Qu Yuan's life was a tragic life of unyielding loyalty, and his "Nine Songs," "Lisao," "Tianwen," "The Conjuring," and "Nine Chapters" all imprinted the traces of his life.
