Why does practice have merit and merit?

Qingfu is more difficult than Hongfu, so it is more difficult for people to enjoy Qingfu.

However, when ordinary people in the world can enjoy pure happiness in their old age, they are afraid of loneliness and loneliness, which is quite pitiful. In fact, that pure state is the best time, but because of the appearance, he grasps all kinds of phenomena in the world that will change too firmly, thinking that it is true, and when the phenomena change, he thinks that nothing is right. Some people don't want to ask for a minute of blessing when they are busy, but when it comes to enjoying the blessings, they often don't know that it is the real blessing. In fact, peace and purity are true blessings.

To put it simply, merit is to become a Buddha. Merit is the good retribution of the world.

Cultivators do not do all evils and do all good deeds, and of course good deeds are rewarded, and this is merit. And if a practitioner does good deeds and is not attached to the good retribution in the worldly samsara, then he will definitely become a Buddha in the future, and this is merit.

Cultivation is the practice of verifying the wrong thoughts and actions of sentient beings. By knowing good and evil through clear cause and effect, and cutting off evil and cultivating good, we can eliminate all the negative karmic habits of sentient beings and increase their good karmic merits.

If you stop evil, you will no longer have negative karmic retribution, and you will be free from all afflictions and sufferings. If you cultivate goodness, you will accumulate the merits of good karma, and your life will be happy and fulfilling.

Cultivating goodness without attachment to goodness is merit. The heart is pure and unblemished, this is merit. If you always remember these good deeds after doing good deeds, and you think about them often, so that your pure mind is tainted by good karma, then this is merit.

Only with correct practice can there be merit and merit. When you know what is the right practice, you will know why there is merit and merit in practice.

The nature of all living beings is a Buddha, and the process of knowing and seeing one's own nature is merit. Manifesting and guiding others on how to get out of the sea of suffering, how to attain supreme bodhi, is the cultivation of bliss.

Gong is about kung fu, and virtue is about what you have gained and what you have gained. You will definitely gain something from your efforts. This virtue is the same as gain and loss, and gain and gain.

What is merit? Gong is kung fu, you really have kung fu in practice, and if you have kung fu, of course you will have gains.

Third, Corning: good health and peace of mind; Fearless generosity (keeping sentient beings free from fear, fear, and suffering, such as liberation, giving medicine, etc.) is the only way to live a long and healthy life, and to cultivate a pure mind to achieve peace.

Fourth, good virtue: at any time, the accumulation of yin virtue, the nature of benevolence and generosity and tranquility;

Fifth, good death: can know the date of death in advance. At the end of life, there is no pain and fear, and in the next life there is a good way, and only by doing good deeds and accumulating virtue can a good way be born.

Functions of merit:

1. Offering to the gods. The fragrant clouds are swirling, vacating the sky to make offerings, offering to the upper realm Yunfu Gao Zhen, the middle realm Yue Du Weiling, the lower realm water mansion immortal officials, and the gods of the Three Realms. Difference Between Good Fortune and Merit:

Good fortune can be enjoyed by oneself and others, such as money, houses, etc.; Merit is self-receiving, and practicing a pure mind can turn good fortune into merit. Breaking evil and cultivating good is the cause, getting good fortune is fate, obtaining good fortune is the result, and having great good fortune will naturally have great blessings, but no matter how big it is, it can't get rid of the six realms. If you do something good, you never forget it, you do this good deed, and you do that good deed, that is a blessing.

Merit is not the same, merit is necessary to help oneself who is courageously and diligently practicing the Dharma to get out of the six realms and come to the realm of one true dharma and even the Pure Land of Bliss. Merit is in the emptiness of wisdom, that is merit. If you have done so many things and there is no trace in your heart, that is merit.

Compared with the two, merit is more important than good fortune, merit lies in the heart, good fortune lies in the outside, only the heart is good, there will be good fortune.

The role of merit:

1. Elimination of criminal obstacles. For example, the cloud of "Youpo Sai Sutra Eight Precepts and Fasting": "Good man! If you can take refuge in the eight precepts in this way, you will be eliminated except for the five sins of rebellion, and even all other sins. ”

2. Good fortune. "Upa Yi Fallen Shekya Sutra" cloud: "Those who fast for six days, for example, the sea water is immeasurable, and those who fast for one day and one night are incalculable. ”

3. Honor in the afterlife. The Sutra on Building a House says: "As long as you take the eight precepts once, you will not be reborn in the calamities of swords, soldiers, famines, and other tribulations. ”

4. Get what you want. "Add a Han Sutra and High Building" cloud: "If there are good men and good women who have become eight levels of fasting, and want to live in the four kings of heaven, they will also get this wish, and those who hold the vows will get it." Those who want to be shravakas, enlightenments, and Buddha riders will fulfill their wishes. ”

5. Stay away from evil pleasures and gradually gain liberation.

Merit can be enjoyed by oneself and others, such as money, houses, etc.; Merit is self-receiving, and practicing a pure mind can turn merit into merit.

Breaking evil and cultivating good is the cause, and you will be blessed.

Virtue is fate, obtaining good fortune is the fruit, and having great fortune naturally has great blessings, but no matter how big it is, it can't get rid of the six realms. Merit is different, merit is that it can help oneself who is courageously and diligently practicing the Dharma to break away from the six realms and come to the One Truth.

What is necessary for the Dharma Realm and even the Pure Land of Bliss, simply put, is that great merit means that the effort is strong, and the effort is completed, and the results are naturally rare and special.

Good fortune means that you do good deeds in return, just like good people have good rewards, and merit is related to a high degree of good deeds. The difference between the two is that the level of merit is higher, and the good deeds done are greater. It doesn't matter which one is important, the merit of recuperation means doing good deeds, doing great good deeds, and good deeds can purify people's minds, gain peace, and help the weak.

A person's motivation is the most important thing, and if a person does not have a good intention, he will not be able to make merits. To give a simple example, there are many people in the world who like to transmit negative energy to others when they are not moving, telling others that they have a lot of hatred and dissatisfaction in their hearts. Why do so many people have accidents?

It is to first tell others about his grievances, tell them a lot, hope to get their sympathy, and then want to get help from others.

For a person who has "me".

"Selflessness" is the cultivation of the six realms. What does this mean? Because there's nothing in this world that I'm not happy about, there's nothing I hate, because in this world we're just passers-by.

All the things that are doing are non-doing, so the self-being is the merit in the Dharmakaya, that is, all the things that you do after you have understood the Dharma, are all merits. You know that you are a bodhisattva, that's why you do this, and that's two concepts of simply cultivating happiness and longevity. A lot of people kneel in front of the Bodhisattva, and they kneel down as a Bodhisattva, and some people kneel down as a Bodhisattva, and some people are still thinking about the things they did in the past, and the Bodhisattva sees that you are a beast, because the things you talk about in your mouth are still those things that are very much in the world, and you are not valuable, and you have to understand these truths.

In studying Buddhism, you should not only cultivate blessings, but also really make merits, and completely elevate the good deeds you have done to the level of a bodhisattva, so what you do is merit.

Merit is a Buddhist term. But the requirements for merit are relatively high, and everything that is beyond one's ability is merit. For example, saving people, or rather, a beggar who donates rice to the temple by asking for rice is a merit.
