Even if we have a lot of bad karma in the process of practice, we should be willing to bear it, and we should give all the merits and merits that we have cultivated to our relatives and creditors, and call on them to study the Dharma with us and move towards the path to liberation, which means that we are changing the cause and effect.

Because of this, and with a lot of good karma, the retribution will change, so for the diligent reciting Buddha, "if it is the cause", it is not the "such effect". Because there are different causes added, the retribution changes in a variety of ways, and it is difficult to say. Therefore, chanting the Buddha should not be negative.

Through reciting the Dharma, and then cultivating the ten good karma, the merit and merit of the Buddha will be directed towards us, and the creditors who complain will be more or less affected by us; The seeds of evil that we created in our past lives are also beginning to change. If we add a lot of good and pure karma, this fruit may become a pure and good result, not a bad one.

To study and recite the Dharma, we must believe in cause and effect, believe that we can change the karma that the causes of evil created in the past will be formed, and believe that we will be able to be reborn in bliss as we wish, or the Pure Land of the Buddhas, or see the self-nature of the Buddha, or attain the highest quality rebirth. In addition, we must also believe that the path to liberation must not be separated from cause and effect.

Some people may think that since the ultimate liberation does not have to be retribution, it is far from cause and effect, and the fact is not necessarily true.

Because after liberation, sooner or later, we must go from small to large, and practice the bodhisattva line, and the practice of the bodhisattva line will have the five yin; If the cause of evil is not changed, it will be retributed after all, so it is still not separated from cause and effect. The reason why liberation is achieved today is because of the good and pure causes planted in past lives, and the various causes for studying the Dharma in this life and past lives, so the results of liberation today are still in the law of cause and effect, so we should have a deep belief in cause and effect.

The key to your question is to make you understand the existence of past lives and future lives. You don't believe in past lives and future lives. It is believed that when a person dies, it is broken and will not continue to the next life, so when you come into this world, you do not recognize that it is a continuation of the previous life.

However, Buddhism holds that people have a past life and an afterlife because after death the mind does not cease to exist, and your karma will lead you to the next samsara. How? We are all mortals, not saints, and we cannot take you to the heavens or hell, but from our daily observations, we can find clues.

For example, why do some children who grew up in the same countryside have talent for learning English and some have talent for learning mathematics? Growing up in the same family, why do you love to eat turnips and your brother loves potatoes? What we take for granted but ignore are the habits that we have brought with us in our past lives.

If, as you think, there is no past life or afterlife, then every newborn child should be the same and will not have their own preferences. However, in fact, this is not the case, some dolls love to cry, some love to laugh, some love to play with cars, and some love to play with guns. All of this is the result of pre-life karma.

From this, you will understand that the good and evil you did in your past life will lead to suffering and happiness in your present and future lives. Therefore, even though you are suffering now, you will also strive to do good, and you who are enjoying now will also strive to cherish your blessings.

Look at the mentality, a big boss will be bitter if he loses a deal, and a beggar will be happy when he gets a steamed bun. Buddhism says to give up the ego and seek the true nature of the ego. Who in the world can avoid troubles?
