Buddhism advocates cause and effect, and what an individual sows can reap what he or she receives, and the matter of burning incense and worshiping the Buddha itself is also a cause and effect. If what you are asking for is in line with cause and effect, then it is useful to worship the Buddha.

That is to say, if a person does a lot of evil and usually does not plant good causes, at this time he runs to the Buddha to ask for the Buddha, if he asks the Buddha to bless him to get good fortune and good luck, then it will naturally not be realized, but if he asks the Buddha to bless him, there are many disasters and difficulties, and there are many bad luck, this request will definitely be fulfilled, but few people go to ask the Bodhisattva like this.

When we seek the Buddha before the Buddha, we should combine our actual situation and the causes of good and evil that we have planted, and ask for something that conforms to the law of cause and effect, so that you can get what you want.

Burning incense and worshiping the Buddha, if it is just to seek the Buddha, even if what you ask is really realized, it is useless, because this is not learning Buddhism, and the real student of Buddhism goes to the temple to burn incense and worship the Buddha, and will not worship the Buddha for the purpose of seeking the Buddha, but will worship the Buddha for the purpose of worshiping the Buddha.

Worship the Buddha without seeking the Buddha, worship the Buddha can really benefit, because worshipping the Buddha without seeking the Buddha is to cultivate blessings, if it is to find the Buddha to do things, because the Buddha is required to worship the Buddha, then you will not get good fortune. This is not what Buddhism promotes.

To study Buddhism, we must believe in cause and effect, good causes get good results, and evil causes get bad results. Burning incense and worshiping the Buddha will not change one's cause and effect. The Buddha is not omnipotent, there are some things that the Buddha can do, and there are some things that the Buddha cannot do, such as personal cause and effect, the Buddha cannot change, the Buddha cannot change the sentient beings who have no cause, and the Buddha cannot directly give wisdom to the foolish sentient beings, we must worship the Buddha more, make offerings to the Buddha, but don't always ask the Buddha.

If you don't cultivate yourself, of course, you will rarely be able to seek Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

Buddhism talks about cause and effect, and talks about cause and effect in three lifetimes. If you don't have it in your life, you won't have it no matter how you climb. It is not the bodhisattva who is dictating your fate. But it can be said to be accurate that when you worship a bodhisattva, you are planting good causes, and they will slowly sprout.

Sincerity is spiritual, don't complain if you don't have a spirit, but see if you need too much, or if you are dissatisfied? It is better to seek from the outside than to seek from the inside. It is difficult for the mud bodhisattva to cross the river himself, so who does the bodhisattva ask?

In other words, you need your virtues and merits to be able to correspond to the great wishes and spirit of the Buddha and Bodhisattva in order to have a good feeling, and you should not worship the Buddha with the mentality of whether you can achieve your wishes, which is the root of blind superstition.

The so-called sincerity is spiritual, of course, some people think that praying to God and worshiping Buddha can achieve their wishes! However, modern people are rarely superstitious, and may be more just seeking peace of mind, similar to taking a deep breath when you are nervous.

Sincerity is spirituality, and the law of heaven and earth is a kind of sustenance in people's hearts.

It also has to do with the karma, and if the time is not ripe, it will not be realized. But no matter whether the wish is fulfilled or not, being able to worship the Buddha and recite the Buddha more is to eliminate karma.

Increase the blessing and retribution, and the merit is great.
