How many levels are there in the Bodhisattva Realm?

The highest attainment in Hinayana Buddhism is an arhat, and the sages in Theravada Buddhism do not seek to become Buddhas, but only to be able to enter the realm of Nirvana, and then settle down in Nirvana, and no longer to transform sentient beings, so they cannot be called bodhisattvas or become Buddhas. The Mahayana Bodhisattva Path, although it enters Nirvana, does not live in Nirvana, and although it can liberate itself from birth and death, it is still inseparable from life and death, so it is called the Bodhisattva Path in order to be able to conveniently transform sentient beings.

Bodhisattva is a transliteration (abbreviated translation) of Sanskrit, and the full translation is "Bodhisattva".Its meaning, "Bodhi" is enlightenment, "Sadu" is sentient beings, and Bodhisattva is sentient beings. Sentient refers to a life of affection and affection.

A person who believes in Buddhism and learns Buddhism and vows to save others by himself, or even sacrifices himself to save others, can be called a bodhisattva. In other words, from the initial vow to the Buddhahood, one can be called a bodhisattva, so there is a difference between an ordinary bodhisattva and a virtuous bodhisattva.

According to Huayanzhi, the Bodhisattva is divided into 52 levels (Ten Faith, Ten Dwellings, Ten Elements, Ten Dedications, Ten Grounds, Equal Enlightenment, and Wonderful Enlightenment), of which the Ten Beliefs are ordinary people, the Ten Residences, Ten Elements, and Ten Dedication Positions are virtuous Bodhisattvas, and only the last twelve ranks are saints, that is, from the first place to the ten places, plus Equal Enlightenment and Wonderful Enlightenment. The Bodhisattva of Equal Enlightenment is the great Bodhisattva who is about to become a Buddha, and the Bodhisattva of Miaojue is the Buddha.

In other words, the former of the earth is called the Bodhisattva, the one on the earth is called the Great Bodhisattva, and the more than seven places are called the Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Usually the bodhisattvas mentioned in Buddhist scriptures refer to the holy bodhisattvas, that is, the bodhisattvas above the primordial ground. The most familiar to us are Guanyin, Dashi Zhi, Manjushri, Puxian, Maitreya, Jizo, etc., which are the great bodhisattvas of equal enlightenment.

The Perfection Attainment is the Eleventh Ground (Buddha Land), and although the Bodhisattvas of the Ten Lands have attained all kinds of enlightenment without hindrance to the subtle disturbing flames, they have not yet attained the Buddhahood, so why: Although the Bodhisattvas of the Ten Lands have attained the empowerment of all the wisdom and wisdom of the Buddhas of the Ten Directions, they still have to attain the Dharma, retribution, and incarnate in three bodies, and after receiving the inscription, they will be born in the world, live in the world, attain enlightenment (the afflictions and obstacles of knowledge that have been interrupted by the path of monasticism at that time, and there is no more time to stop for a while), turn the Dharma, and manifest the incarnations of Nirvana (manifesting the impermanence of the world). Therefore, the consummation of the fruit is the name:

If you come, you should make offerings, you are omniscient, you are doing enough, you are good at passing away, you are a supreme master, you are a husband, you are a teacher, you are a Buddha, you are a world-honored person.

It is said that the heart of the world is wonderful and happy. The first place name is joyful. Away from all minor offenses.

The second place name is off the scale. His samadhi is immeasurably wise. The third place name is clear.

Burn all afflictions with the flame of wisdom. Practise the Bodhi Division. The fourth place name is Flame Land.

It is convenient for him to practice the division of bodhi. Hardship, hard work, and freedom. Fifth, the name of the place is incomprehensible.

Now observe all walks of life and lovesickness. The sixth place name is now the foreground. Constantly without lovesickness.

Far into the near pure land. The seventh place name is Far Away. There is no phase and no development phase troubles.

No, don't move. The eighth place name is immovable. All kinds of expressions are free.

There is no reason for the wisdom of the masses. The ninth place is called Shanhuidi. Such as the void and other evils.

It is like a big cloud and the Dharma body is all over the world. The tenth place name is Fayundi. Subtle troubles are broken.

There is no obstacle to all kinds of consciousness. The eleventh place name Buddha Land.

Golden Light Sutra: Everything is as it is, and it has the three bodies of Dharma retribution. But in some sutras there are only two bodies, or four bodies, or five bodies. In fact, all of these expressions can be attributed to the three bodies.

Solemn Sutra: The Dharma retribution incarnates three bodies, that is, the Buddha's body. "The meaning of the three bodies is the body of the Dharmakaya and the body of the Buddha.

Prajna 8,000 verses: "You can't see the body as it comes, and the Dharma body of the one who comes is also." The two colors of retribution flow out of the blessings of the Dharma body, in order to help sentient beings and the wishes of the past, and there is the manifestation of the two bodies, and these three bodies are combined to have a perfect Buddha body.

If there are eleven clouds. Twenty. and so on, and so on, which is the wisdom of the consciousness and the earth. In the end, it is equal wisdom, name: Supreme Enlightenment. (The supreme is not the supremacy, but the supremacy of nothingness, and this true equality is also).

No! Above the ten earths, there are also the Bodhisattvas of Equal Enlightenment and the Bodhisattvas of Miaojue. To Yuanjue is the Buddha's position, and it is the fruition of perfection.
