There were people in our ashram who didn't keep the vows, and later, under the guidance of everyone's demonstration, they began to keep the vows. It's not easy. If you don't keep the vows, you don't have enough good karma, and other practitioners should not stay away from him, but should help him do all the good things, improve his practice, and complete the good roots.
In the Buddha's door, there is no one to be reluctant. Every practitioner should develop a vast bodhichitta to save all sentient beings.
-
If you don't take the vows, you will be worse off because you consume good fortune than if you don't recite the Buddha. Holding the vows in complete opposition to reciting the Buddha is a real separate consumption. I don't take the vows now, and my life is no different from that of a normal person.
-
All beings are strong and difficult to subdue. I don't understand it. It's shallow, and it's interpreted according to the text.
Don't talk about it, teach it directly and say that you don't understand. On this issue, the great monks of the past generations have said I don't know how many times. Let's take an example, just follow fate, you should understand naturally.
Just like when a person is sick, it is of course important to take medicine, and it is equally important to quit the mouth. The ring itself is an important part of the world. If you don't quit taking medicine alone, the medicine will become harmful if it doesn't work.
If you chant the Buddha like the Dharma, it is no problem to prescribe the medicine, and keeping the precepts is the precepts.
-
I've heard of selective vows, such as not eating meat dishes, but wanting to get married and have children, want children to get married and have children, and then ask spouses, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and children not to eat meat dishes.
-
There are monks, there are laymans, there are gods and gods, and there are dereligious, everyone's stage karma is different, there is no distinction between superior and inferior, but I don't study Buddhism, and I can't analyze it if it's too specific.
-
You're going to find a girlfriend again, and you're going to quit sex.
I really don't understand, what the hell is going on?
After thinking about it carefully, I understood a little: you are probably living too comfortably and want to taste the taste of sin.
It's like: make a bunch of delicacies, and then just look at it and don't eat it, diet!
It's like: engage in a bunch of beauties, and then just watch from a distance, quit sex! Engaging in spiritual love?
Now that I've seen it, it's fate, and I'll give you a suggestion:Abstinence is the only way to save your life!
1. It is strictly forbidden before marriage. Limit the number of times you can get married, up to once a month.
2. Sleep separately after having children.
It seems that you have a family member who is studying the Dharma. This advice from the family is good.
Learn about the Dharma and don't follow the crowd. According to the order, first understand the Diamond Sutra, the Ranga Sutra, and become the Theory of Consciousness. You see, lad, you're in for a treat! If you don't understand it for the time being, it's okay.
Finally, studying Buddhism does not prevent you from having a girlfriend!

To learn Buddhism, you must keep the precepts, the Buddha said that the precepts are the Buddha, the Buddha is the precepts, the precepts are the precepts, the precepts are the precepts, the precepts are the precepts, the precepts are the precepts. The two of them are one, so if you want to learn Buddhism and become a Buddha, you have to keep the vows. Why can't you become a Buddha?
It's because you don't keep the precepts, you can't become a Buddha. What is a ring? Precepts are a powerful tool to get rid of our faults and habits.
The vows can sweep away all our obstacles, and the vows are the vows when we sweep away all our obstacles. When you keep the vows until everything is a vow, then there is no such thing as a vow, then you are a Buddha, and a Buddha is ready-made. But because we don't take vows, we can't become Buddhas.
If we take the vows, that's what it means to be a Buddha. The Chang Aham Sutra says: "There are five merits in taking vows
One, what you want is what you want; Both, property gain is not damaged; The three, where they live, are loved and respected by all; Fourth, good name and good reputation, all over the world; Fifth, the body is bad and dies, and they will be born in heaven. ”
That is to say, there are these five benefits of taking vows:
One, whatever you ask will come true, and everything you ask will come true, because keeping the vows is a great supernatural power.
In both cases, the property gain is not damaged, not only increases, but is no longer damaged.
Three, where they live, are loved and respected by all, and everyone will rejoice.
The four will be praised wherever they go, and their good names are known all over the world.
The fifth, at the end of their lives, will be born in heaven.
The heavenly life does not only refer to this heaven, including the afterlife in the West is "the heavenly heaven", which is also this word. In the past, instead of saying "rebirth in the West", we said "heaven", and all the places we should go to are called heaven.
There are these five merits in taking vows. Then we usually go to great lengths to seek good fortune, property, respect, and fame, so it is better to keep the vows. If you want to take vows, these things come naturally, and that's the most straightforward way to do it.
The Buddha's Relic Sutra says: "You and other bhikkhus, after I am destroyed, you should respect and cherish the Parahati Wooden Fork", which means precepts.
As darkness meets light", it is like a dark sky meets day. Like "the poor get the treasure", the poor get the treasure. "When you know that this is your master, if I live in the world, there is no difference. "It's the same as the Buddha's life.
The Great Reward Sutra says: "If you want to repay the Buddha's kindness, you should hold the precepts and uphold the Dharma." The husband can maintain the Dharma, and the results of the three vehicles are continuous. It is based on the Boroti wooden fork. ”
We all say to repay the Buddha's kindness, and many Dharma teachers also say to repay the Buddha's kindness, what does it mean to repay the Buddha's kindness? The Buddha said that if you want to repay the Buddha's kindness, you should keep the precepts, uphold the Dharma, and maintain the Dharma. In this way, the fruits of the three-vehicle path will continue continuously.
Someone who constantly obtains the three-vehicle path fruits, it can also be said that a person ...... from the first, second, and third fruitsConstantly, these things are inseparable from the Timu fork, which is fundamental, and they are inseparable from the precepts.
Whether we want to attain the Tao, repay the Buddha's kindness, or maintain the Dharma, we can't do without the precepts. Therefore, the precepts are our greatest blessing and the greatest auspiciousness, so keeping the precepts is the most auspicious thing for us.

If you really study Buddhism and want to be free from your troubles and sufferings, you have to take vows, and to keep the vows is to stop evil. Constantly evil, cultivating all good laws is like a bamboo basket to draw water.
It is best to take the five precepts in time. If you break the vows, you can repent, continue to keep the vows, and continue to break the evils. If you don't take the vows, how can you repent and keep them? On what basis should we keep the vows?
The vows are the supreme bodhi book, and not taking the vows is the true practice of the Dharma.
-
There is no need, the Buddha is the pursuit of great freedom, and attachment and precepts are against the will of the Buddha!
-
Who is driving a seat belt for, at least keep the five precepts, and you can still be a human being in the next life.
-
To learn Buddhism, you must keep the precepts, because only when the five precepts are held can you get a human body, and the Buddha said that if you don't take the precepts, you can't get the body of a leprosy dog, let alone a human body? If you can't keep the vows and lose your human body, you won't even be able to keep your body, and you will end up practicing to the Three Evil Paths, so what kind of practice are you talking about? However, if you can't take all five precepts, you can take one precept, or the second precept is a lesser vow, or you can take three or four precepts and multiple precepts, and all five precepts are called full precepts.
However, it is possible to fast the eight levels from time to time, and the merits of only one day are incredible. There is only one day of fasting, and if you want two days, you have to take it the next day. Many monks also observe the eight precepts.
-
It's not necessary, and if you can't keep it, you can't accept it.
-
I don't know enough about the formulation and content of the precepts. You have to know why this vow was made. Buddhism needs to be understood in depth. The old monk of the clear space talked a lot. These are all education. It may not have much to do with modern religion.
-
First of all, I would rather die and keep the precepts, second, don't take myself seriously, third, take the opportunity to practice forbearance and humiliation, fourth, learn to deal with troubles, and fifth, repent.
The Buddha told us that we must "endure evil."
When evil comes, don't be hateful.
The word "瞋" (the ancient version is mostly written as "瞋"), a "目" word, a "true" word. The word "eye", the eyes are very big and big. He thought it was true, and stared at it vigorously, but in fact he was already resentful.
Why are you staring? Your eyes are hateful, so you can't stare at them.
Why endure evil?
The wicked hear the good", and the wicked will surely come and destroy you when they hear that they are going to do good deeds.
You've just done something good, and I'm going to have to say a few words about you. Especially if you amend the law, then someone will have to destroy it. "Those who come to disturb the past" are those who deliberately come to make trouble.
What should I do?
Thou shalt not rest thyself," that is, to rest the thoughts in your heart, and to get rid of the thoughts of hatred in your heart. "When there is no blame", there should be no resentment, and there should be no talk of others. Some of us can do this, some can't, and some don't know it.
Why did the Buddha teach us to endure? Actually, the Buddha is saying this conveniently, because it is unbearable, and there is nothing that can be endured. Why?
Sometimes people are helping us, but we don't know each other.
Before Shakyamuni Buddha attained enlightenment, when he was a forbearant immortal, his limbs were cut off by King Gori, that is, he was forbidden to rest, without thoughts, and without hatred. And he made a vow, saying, "If I become enlightened, you will be the first to attain enlightenment, and you will be the first to help."
Why did Shakyamuni Buddha do this? Because the troublemakers are here to help youYou don't know, you think he's cutting you and killing you, but you don't know that he's helping you achieve it. Don't doubt this, say that some people may help me achieve it, and some people are troublemakers.
In fact, it's all for you, and it's not fake, it's something you don't realize. When people help us, we don't know it, we only see things as they are, but we don't see what we have in our hearts.
He comes to the wicked and does evil to himself", that is, if a wicked person comes, he can only repay himself. You are evil, who can you be evil? Can you hate others?
When you scold others, you are actually scolding yourself. said, "I choked that person's anger enough, why do I still scold myself?"
scolded him so much that his face turned red and white, and he was speechless, I was already angry with him, why did I still 'hate myself'? "You don't know, he's you, he's your parents. You don't know that after you have finished scolding, the "evil" has penetrated deeply into your seed consciousness, and in the future, once the cause and effect have matured, they will immediately take revenge on you again.
When the cause and effect are ripe, you will return to yourself, so it is called "self-evil". Evil is rewarded with evil, and good is rewarded with good.
-
If someone is bullied, you can defend yourself, you can call the police, or you can go to the court to sue him. "Do not violate the national system" is one of the Buddhist canons, and Buddhism respects the laws of the country and can also protect itself according to the law.
Of course, if someone learns the spirit of the Bodhisattva, spits on himself, and does not fight back and scolds and does not return the mouth, it is worthy of admiration.
-
First of all, you have to understand that studying Buddhism does not make you far away from the public, nor does it make you a different person. The Buddha said that taking the precepts as a teacher, this precept is the heart precept, it is to refrain from greed, hatred, ignorance, and suspicion in the heart, do not mistake the external precepts as practice, and the external precepts are the guidance of the inner precepts, and it is also a kind of cultivation. Conforming to the masses is also a practice.
-
You don't always go around proclaiming that you are learning the Buddha's vows, and you don't always bring the Buddha's name into your life, but the important thing is to live according to the teachings of the Dharma, and live according to the Dharma without a trace. Instead of going around boasting that I studied Buddhism, that I took vows, and so on. That would create obstacles to doing it silently.
-
First of all, we must have faith in the Dharma, insist on doing the right thing, people are like this, seeing that others are different from themselves, they will have a rejection mentality, they are always blinded by the phenomenon, and because of this, people will have troubles, and those who study Buddhism should not be affected by the phenomenon, and regard it as a test of practice.

Q: How does the Pure Land sect view vows?
Venerable Daan replied: Everyone knows the three blessings of pure karma, the second blessing of the three blessings of pure karma, the Hinayana vows, which [take the three refuges, have sufficient vows, and do not commit precedes], and this is the view of the Pure Land sect on taking vows. You have to take refuge in the Three Jewels of the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha with all your hearts, and you have to take the vows, and you have to have the five precepts, and you have to have the five precepts, and you have to have the five precepts, and you have to have the five precepts, and you have to have the five precepts.
You further ask for the bodhisattva vows, the tenfold and the forty-eight light vows, and take them sufficiently, even without committing the precedents.
What is not to commit prestige? Majesty is the small vows, not only the vows to be held, such as the ten-fold and forty-eight light vows, but also the forty-eight light precepts that you have to hold. The first two parts of the bhikshu vows are heavy vows, and the last three are majestic vows, and they must also be kept well, that is, they must be kept with such a state of mind.
In the age of the end of the Dharma, as the troubles of our sentient beings become heavier and heavier, the challenge of this precept becomes more and more great, and it becomes more and more difficult to have the Dharma, the pure and good Dharma, to exist in this world. When we have a lot of troubles, we tend to have an urge to break the vows, so at this time, we must have a deep belief in cause and effect, we must exalt our awareness of the vows beyond our lives, and we must never break the vows or break the vows.
Amitabha Buddha has made countless eons of vows and practices in the cause and ground, all of which are pure in the body, mouth and mind, and if we have a polluted heart and a heart to break the vows, it will be difficult to communicate with the name of Amitabha. Therefore, everyone must keep the precepts well, at least the five precepts must be held well, let's not talk about the more detailed ones, the five precepts must be held well, the five precepts and the ten virtues.

Becoming a Buddha means that the merit has been completed.
The practice of Buddhism is to cultivate the precepts, concentration, and wisdom without leakage, and the three non-leakage learning is to strictly adhere to the precepts, so that there is no offense, that is, there is no leakage. The three learnings of precepts, concentration, and wisdom are organically interrelated.
The precepts are the foundation of all practices, and they are also the foundation of the practice of the Dharma. Strict adherence to the precepts as the basis for studying and practicing Buddhism is just like the truth of people in the world who build a building and lay a foundation, because the building you build does not have a good foundation, the building will not be stable, and sooner or later the house that has not been built with a good foundation will tilt or even collapse. Studying Buddhism and practicing without strict precepts is the same as building a building without a foundation.
Keeping the precepts helps us to deceive our habits of darkness and confusion, to purify our minds, and on this basis, all positive qualities can be cultivated and developed, just as the earth supports all the mountains and seas.
Those who can't control their temper will definitely be conquered by society in the end, and slowly they will lose the so-called edges and corners, and even they are willing to make changes, I think such people are making changes step by step, and they are really improving.
