Bodhisattva is the necessary identity of all beings to become Buddhas, sentient beings to become Buddhas, must first make a great wish, the most important of which are four, called the four grand vows: "All sentient beings have boundless vows, endless troubles vow to be broken, the Dharma is immeasurable vow to learn, and the supreme vow of Buddhism is fulfilled."
