Master Ding said, "Zen is not cultivated."

Why? Because Zen is the Buddha's mind, "all living beings have Buddha nature".

What is Buddha-nature? It is the true face of each person, the true face of all things: empty, nothing, nothing, no more, no less.

The nature of the Buddha's mind is self-sufficient, as long as we are not in the state of the body and mind that is constantly in the state of identity, we will see when we look back, and "rest is Bodhi". So you can't see it by practicing, because the meaning of practicing, that is, I can increase, subtract, or change, and then make a difference.

The essence of nature can only be seen by "awareness without choice", by "awareness and equanimity", by "loving what you are", and by "knowing that there is thought, knowing that there is not, and knowing what you can do". And all we can do is stay aware (the process is something I can grasp), and whether our nature gives us something to see is also a matter of chance (the result is left to God).

Qiao Yu said: "Cultivation means to correct words and deeds. ”

Whether it is the cultivation of Shang Zhen's insight, or the cultivation of enlightenment, it is inseparable from cultivation. Because although the nature is the same, everyone has deep-rooted habits and reactions.

Even if you have seen the nature of emptiness, you still need to be aware of your words and deeds, revise your words and deeds, and get rid of your habitual reactions. Because of this, we are living beings (I use my body, my mind, my emotions, I decide what I say and do), not robots that react automatically, the walking dead (the desires of the body, the crankiness of the mind, the storm of emotions that carry me away, and the words and actions are triggered and determined by the environment).

Existence exists at the same time, emptiness exists at the same time, and our nature is nothing and everything.

So, let's see all this, be aware of all this. Let us have a pure heart, move on, harmonize ourselves with others and the world, and enjoy happiness. Imperial Ridge.

Thank you for reading and good luck!

Enlightenment and Zen are both methods and purposes of Buddhist practice, but their realms are different.

Enlightenment refers to breaking through the shackles of life and death through thinking, comprehension, and experience, and reaching a realm beyond the human world. Enlightenment is a feeling of sudden enlightenment, a feeling of comprehending the true meaning of life and reaching a realm. Enlightenment is short-lived, and it is only when one has not yet attained complete liberation that one returns to the human world again.

Zen is a method of practice that, through meditation and observation of one's own mind, enables one to transcend oneself and realize one's interrelationship with all things, reaching a state of transcendence of the world. Zen is a realm that transcends words and thoughts, an experience that goes deep into the heart, a true understanding and knowledge of oneself and the world.

From this point of view, the realm of Zen is higher. Meditation requires constant practice to attain, and enlightenment is somewhat of an "accidental" experience. At the same time, Zen can help people to transcend themselves and see the wider world, while enlightenment is only a temporary feeling.

Therefore, Zen is more able to help people achieve true liberation and transcend the constraints of the world.

The epiphany of Zen Buddhism is the self-nature of the self-realization that the ten thousand dharmas are born from the self, and the ten thousand dharmas are inseparable from the self-nature. So-called: Seeing nature with a clear mind, seeing nature and becoming a Buddha. The enlightenment method of Zen Buddhism is a method that does not set up words, does not pretend to practice, and directly points to people's hearts, so that the present can be clear and insightful.

Therefore, the method of enlightenment in Zen Buddhism is not only not a way of thinking, but also must be separated from words in order to see nature. The so-called words are broken, and the heart and deeds are destroyed. 」

What is self-nature? That is, the Buddha-nature that everyone has in nature, that is, the Dharma-truth, the true mind, the Dharmakaya, the Dharma-realm, the Dharma-nature, the pure mind, the rigpa, and the Buddha-nature. That is, the Sixth Patriarch Huineng Master, when he was enlightened, said:

When the self-nature is self-pure, when the self-nature is not born and destroyed, when the self-nature is self-sufficient, when the self-nature is unshaken, and when the self-nature is born ten thousand laws.

How to see sex? Let go of all famous words and thoughts, return to the light, and see in the present, that is, the emptiness and purity of nature.
