Urie Bronfenbrenner was a prominent American psychologist who lived from 1917 to 2005. He is best known for proposing the Bioecological Theory, which describes the different systems of interaction that affect the development of individuals.

Bronfenbrenner argues that there is a regular, active, two-way interaction between the developing individual and the current environment, and that development occurs when this interaction process becomes more complex. He proposed five environmental systems, from the most private to the most general: microscopic system, mesoscopic system, external system, macroscopic system and temporal system.

1.Microsystem: This includes children, families, schools, peers, childcare centers, and neighborhoods, which are the environments that children are in direct contact with.

2.Mesosystem: It is related to the relationship network between the family and the child, such as the connection between the family and the school.

3.Extrinsic system: It is far away from the child's direct influence but still acts on the child's environment, such as social and cultural values, ** forms, social trends, and major events such as natural disasters.

4.Macrosystem: A system that encompasses cultural values.

5.Chrono system: A system that persists according to the latitude and time of time.
