1. Not enough memory!!
2. Is the CPU single-core? Not often enough!

My opinion: Vista system shutdown is relatively slow, my machine Inter Core T7200, 2G RAM, 160G hard drive, is still very slow.
But Vista has a better way to do it than to shut it down: hibernate (which is something XP definitely doesn't have).
In the case of general use, the system does not need to shut down at all, hibernation is the best choice, hibernation is to fix the content of the system as a hibernation file stored on the disk, and the next boot to read the file for the restoration of the state before hibernation.
After the hibernation recording is completed, the power supply can be disconnected, which is no different from shutting down. The next time you boot up the system for system recovery, the speed is much faster than the normal boot boot, about 30 seconds. There are a lot of files, and even the content of the pasted version is there.
The running program will resume work the next time it is started and does not need to be shut down. So if you don't make hardware changes, the best way to do this is to go to hibernation instead of shutdown.

1: Antivirus. 2: Whether you have used optimized or incompatible software.
3: Update the driver.
4: Reduce startup items.
5: Vista system itself starts slowly, a little more software is not good, not to mention that the memory is only 1GB (recommended to upgrade to 2GB, now DDR2 is only sold for about 250 yuan) The normal startup time is not more than 5 minutes, which is reasonable!

If you don't have enough memory, it is said that Vista is a memory killer, and it never hurts to have more memory.
-
Is hibernation really the same as shutting down? Wouldn't it have any bad effects on hibernation without shutting down often (mine is a handheld)?Third floor?
-
If you overclock the CPU, overclock.
The pig's head above actually said that XP didn't!?
When the interface appears when the shutdown appears, press shift on the line.

Cancel the disk self-test, you can save 10s boot time, shutdown will be faster, antivirus software safe mode scan is turned off, it will also save 5s time, use Windows Optimizer to delete the system garbage or delete the system garbage through C: Windows System32, so you can save a few seconds, use Windows Optimizer to optimize the system.

Then there is probably something wrong with your machine, I installed a dual-core processor of Vista my thing, 1G RAM, ATI X1250 points 128M video memory, faster than XP boot.

Although you are confident in your computer configuration, the facts are still facts. Vista's recommended configuration memory is 2G, Microsoft says it's 1G, but such a computer can only be used to see, Vista is slower than XP, and if you don't pay attention to the settings when installing, it will occupy more memory, the solution is to try to turn off those special effects, and it's best to install some low-level versions of Vista, such as the home version.

My computer memory 1G,CPU GHz Core,160G hard disk,It's about the same as your configuration.,The speed is also quite fast.,Maybe your computer is not compatible.。。 It's better to buy a brand machine, hehe. The computer at home doesn't work well because it doesn't work very well

Increase the memory to more than 1GB to minimize the number of programs loaded by Vista at startup.

Vista boots down slowly, so it is recommended to try to make the following adjustments:
1.Ask the user what software and hardware have recently installed that caused this failure, and if so, recommend that the user remove the relevant software and hardware.
2.It is recommended that the user enter the normal mode and block the startup items, and then restart, when entering the desktop, directly shut down the test, if there is any improvement, inform the user that it is caused by too many startup programs. It is recommended to exit the program before shutting down.
3.Check to see if there are still running apps in the taskbar. If there is, try to manually close them one by one, and when you close an application, it can be shut down normally, which means that there is an application that conflicts with the system. Users are advised to uninstall the app.
4.Instruct the user to kill processes that are not used by the system under the Processes tab in Task Manager. Then try shutting it down.

I'm not a master though.
But I'm going to give it a little bit of a try.
Can I make a few suggestions on the computer without fear of being ugly?
1。Disk defragmentation.
When the computer starts, it will read the disk, but if there are many fragments, it will affect the reading speed. So regular defragmentation is necessary.
2。Replace your anti-virus software.
Kaba is indeed a super powerful antivirus, but it is also known as the king of manslaughter......Although I can't say what it killed by mistake, I can't say it if it's compatible with vista, but I think, if it can kill by mistake, the memory it occupies when it boots up must be indispensable. I recommend switching to Norton.
3。Uninstall QQ
How to run with QQ installed, no matter how well the computer is configured, it will slow down. So, ......Well, go to WB on QQ ......
If you make any mistakes, you are welcome to teach ...... with high fingers

No software.
For example, if your computer wants to shut down at 22:00, you can select "Start Running" and enter "at 22:00 shutdown -s", so that at 22:00, the computer will appear in the "System Shutdown" dialog box, which has a 30-second countdown by default and prompts you to save the job. >>>More

I haven't really encountered this kind of problem.,It's normal for you to hang your head if you're using IE! It is recommended to restore all the values of the Internet option to the default, and if it is IE7, you can try to upgrade to IE8 to see if the problem can be solved, good luck! If you want to upgrade to IE8, you can use Windows Update to upgrade, or go to Microsoft's official website**!
